024 - Fossil Fuels
In this video Paul Andersen explains how fossil fuels are formed when organic material is heating and squeezed in an anaerobic environment. Formation, extraction, advantages, and disadvantages are discussed for coal, petroleum and natural gas.

I guess that the reason why some people are not concerned with climate change like the US presidential candidate Donald Trump is that it's warmer. If it produced a colder climate and there was risk setting of an ice age, they would all take action. Warm is good, cold is bad. In northern countries the harsh winters are getting more acceptable. What do you think Anderson? Could it be a factor where people think a green house will make plants grow very well and that water techniques is what we should concentrate on?

Excellent video once again. One exception I have is a mater of semantics. I believe the latest thinking is the atmosphere will not hold all the waste from the fuel we can access now. If that is the case we won't be running out of fossil fuels before it will get undesirable to live in a garbage dump. Mr. Andersen may not have addressed this topic because it is still controversial and it would have made a worst video.

They were telling us that oil was running out soon since the 1970's. We were also going to have ICE age. Do you know how much CO2 is in the air? 0.04%. Do you think by keeping it to 0.04%, we will have constant temperature for the next thousands of years? Climate was changing all the time, only 10,000 years ago, Manhattan was under 2km thick ice, and it was just freed. And we are supposed to keep the earth cool by reducing CO2?

ROTHSCHILDS Own all electric utilities across the globe and with his propaganda to manipulate governments around the world with save the planet of climate change caused by co2 is a lie. To control pop. And tax monies and eventually genocide. Supporters along with this agenda are the UN ,Globalists,elites,Pope Frances, the falsely indoctrinated youths of today ,liberal Leftist Democrats, and socialist /communists/fascistism . All helping to bring about the birthing of the NWO. By soley relying on electricity of which they will control and have a monopoly over. They will remove everyone to smart cities or "kill cities" that will be heavily monitored and then organized genocide is made easier. They want energy use to be zero.. 6billion less people they say would make it easier to control us...and the planet will be for their enjoyment. Look up Deborah Tavares, "Stop the Crime .net " The club of Rome planned this in the 60s with people like Al Gore. Its a hoax that some not all scientists have been forced or bought or influenced into false reports, for there is no correlation between climate change, warming,and co2 of man or fuels being used. There is a real threat of warfare by use of weather being controlled and made through advance technologies today of which are not or rarely spoken of.

Wrong about how oil was made. The coal was , but not oil.. Cure to carbon Though for sure use a lot of oil that we already use and are geared up to use. Of course, it happens to be very renewable . Algae made it in the first place , and still can today. We can make it at a bit of a higher cost then getting it out of the earth right now. At some point it would become cheaper than getting it out. So, the fix is in anyway. While using the oil in the earth already made . We take the easy stuff first of course. While growing algae and harvesting oil will get more efficient as it goes. While at the same time the cost of digging it out will get to be higher as the stock becomes less, And harder to get at what is left. If government did not interfere, it would come to pass that it would remove the easy accessible stuff. Until the cost is more then just growing it. People being what they are, and do what they do. The cheapest way will be used. If we are still using oil we'll grow it . So again you are right , the best thing is government get out of the way. So, oil is the best to use. Happens to also be able to reduce carbon by growing the oil . Algae like all other plants take carbon out of the atmosphere and uses it. Both to make it's body and then excess to store as fat / oil. Because of the process of the left-over byproduct of the body. We can now control the amount of carbon we have in our atmosphere. So, good on us and our use of oil . We can always use our using oil to keep the world carbon under control. By burning the bodies or not as another fuel. But we must be careful with that. Crazy people saying there is too much will want to reduce it too much . That can be a real problem . While curing a problem we do not have , we will make one we now have. Remember always the stupid use the government to do their bidding . So, the outcome is also stupid. That's also why I don't like nuclear . The perfect people to make the perfect nuclear plants , really aren't and mistakes can cause massive destruction. And BTW has . While growing more algae to make oil doesn't have any of that problem. Just getting government out of the way is the real job. To that end. The cure really is a NO tax on anything related to growing oil , using it as fuel , all workers pay . And never tax it in the future either. That proposition might be easy to sell as it's the real cure to global whatever the crazy are calling it now. That alone would promote people to use grown oil . And the easy fix would be now.

First of all, Bozeman forgot to mention that CO2 is only 0.04% of the air, negligible trace gas. It can no way impact the global climate in any significant way. Plus, sea level hasn't changed for 1,000 of years, if in doubt, visit old old ports in Europe and Asia, and it was warmer in the past, like 1930s and even in the middle ages. We got no Hurricane landing on the USA for a decade now. Glacier melting? Only in the summer, some are growing as well as the mass of Antarctic ice. If you see the ice plunging into the sea, then it's because it's summer when it was filmed and in the summer, ice melts. In the winter, it is at night 24 hours in either pole. And how did oil form again? It did not come from dead organisms. Other planets have it, and earth has limitless quantity. Yes, we were going to run out of oil since 1970's, now they say new deposits are found and all, but Saudi and Russia is still the biggest producers, as well as America, and they are not running out of it anytime soon. Heard of Fischer Tropsch process? From CO2 and H2, with some metals like iron and nickel as catalyst, they can become methane to engine oil to plastic. After all, CO2 and H2 are ABUNDANT in the solar system. Petroleum is extracted from the depth of 1-2 km. At that depth, the temperature is only 30-50 C at best. Not hot enough for Fischer Tropsch process to occur. Climate change is a fraud, as well as the "fossil" fuel narrative. This video is just that. Lies, lies, and more lies.

I certainly do not agree. CO2 is not the biggest problem but it still is. The percentages only rose. Never did they decrease. Only increase. 0.04 percent is a small number. Altough numbers don't always show how bad it is. It's the actual state tht the earth is in. One can defenitely distinguish the difference between fresh air and smoggy air. Coming to the 2nd point. Natural gasses. These gasses are found in many coal power plants aswell as in oil power plants. When methane is released from burning the fuels then we also have further gasses like CO. This happens when for example methane burns and then there is a redox reaction in which CO2 releases one C molecule and it then fuses with the methame CH4. This then follows to the end product of methane oxide and CO. These gasses are of course certainly more dangerous than only Co2. There are many more chemical reactions that occur in these forms of power production. Ice glaciers are melting. Thats true. Looking at statistics and graphics one can come to the conclusion that glaciers are melting. The alps are a good example for that. But why dp they melt? Well they melt because of the green house effect which occurs from these gasses like CO, CO2, HO4 and so on. The heat from the sun which send short wave radiation to tge earth's ground and then the earth then shoots the radiation back in a long wave. These long wave radiations hit more molecules than short wave radiations and these causes the air to warm up. Usually the air then rises up to the atmosphere and cools down. Unfortunately the heat bounces back to the earth because of the more dense gasses like CO and ends up in a vicious circle heating up the earth very slowly. There is certainly more to say to this subject. But I am going to leave the rest of the research to you... It's a shame that even student that goes to 9th grade knows more about this than you...

@@bejanhodzic9600 "It's a shame that even student that goes to 9th grade"... Yeah, I was totally brainwashed like you currently are, when I was 9th grade. Did you check the earth's climate history? Mere 30 million years ago, earth had no ice in either north or south pole. What was the CO2 concentration then? 0.15%, 4 times higher than it currently is. Life Thrived. Plants will perish if CO2 is 0.015%, it used to be 0.025% before people started burning coal. Plants were starved of CO2 then.... Now some farmers of exotic plants pump CO2 into their greenhouse to boost their crop growth. More CO2 enhances plant growth by 30-100%, which makes economic sense for the farmers.
@issacabraham2045
@issacabraham2045 4 года назад
@@bejanhodzic9600 Google Fischer-Tropsch process, they use natural gas (CH4) to make oil, of almost any length, including heptane and octane, theoretically all the way up to asphalt. This is called GTL, pretty well known technology. Tell you what, 0.04% of CO2 ain't changing anything. We have infrared telescope that look at galaxies in the sky, in detail. Try to measure the change of any irradiation of any wavelength, by changing some gas molecule concentration from 0.025% to 0.04% or even to 0.1%. You won't be able to measure anything bigger than your error bar. Yet they are trying to spend trillions of dollars to try to not "keep" CO2 concentration at the magical 0.04%, but to "slow down" the rate of increase. Do you still find this rational? CO2 causing global warming is total baloney to put it mildly. Earth has lot more powerful climate thermostat, called cloud. Earth was warmer, and if it is going to get really warm, you ain't going to stop it from warming by keeping the stupid CO2 concentration at whatever magic number you have in your mind. Neither CO2 is CAUSING the earth to get warm, period.
