This is a fantastic new video from Foster & Allen & Nathan Carter, and they perform it beautifully. It's a wonderful song, with excellent lyrics, and should do very well for them. The legendary Irish duo Foster & Allen have been in the music business for over 40 years, and are amongst Ireland's most successful Country 'n' Irish artists. Nathan Carter is based in County Fermanagh, and is one of Ireland's top Country 'n' Irish singer/songwriters. Many thanks to DAVID HULL PROMOTIONS for uploading this superb video. Enjoy this fabulous song ! Shared on Google+
Having come through a major operation I requested this song on hospital radio and for that evening all was well again, its a pity all of life cannot be so.
I loved the duelling accordions on this song. Great performance by all on this. Beautiful video of the Titanic quarter and Samson and Goliath. Nathan's got the midas touch. Quo would have loved this.

heard this song at bbc today i liked this melody so i searched and come here. any more story about this melody? this melody was heard before, used as some football team songs? i heard it with that glory glory united.
The instrumental melody is a traditional Irish tune called 'Darby Kelly'. Status Quo's Andy Bown heard his daughter playing it on recorder, discovered that it was out of copyright and 'borrowed' it for this song, which is credited to Francis Rossi and Andy Bown. It was originally on Quo's 'Ain't Complaining' LP from 1988 and an edited version was a huge hit when released as a single later that year. It was subsequently reworked as 'Come On You Reds' as a Manchester United record, with the involvement of Quo's John 'Rhino' Edwards.
I just made cornbread from the small mix. i.just used water nut I used two eggs..It makes about 7 in by 7 in and 2 to 3 in high cornbread pieces..i just ate a tiny piece and am sipping pepsistraight over ice..everything wants to come back up..shock.
Just to say whilst good this is not original but a cover of Status Quo's 1988 no.5 hit (Rossi/Brown) and which was itself based on a English folk song "Darby Kelly". Think Foster & Allen heard Quo's acoustic version.
