Their Christmas album is straight up legit. "Frosty The People" He got the idea back when he wrote commercial jingles, the Wendy's commercial to be more specific.
I love this band a lot!!! They are my new favorite. I am not surprised to hear that they are influenced by New Order. That bass solo on "Coming of Age" reminds me of Peter from New Order. I guess that is why that track sounds like an 80's Modern Rock Song. Thanks for posting this interview!
I mean he wrote the songs so naturally he's going to have all the answers, I really enjoy the interviews where the band is asked non-music questions because then it just (or was) them joking around and laughing together.
