I'm pretty sure it's because both of songs have similar enough structure to blend. That and he may have altered their tone so they fit the same key. I'm pretty sleep deprived atm and my dad is blaring his guitar right next to me, so I don't really have enough patience to analyze.

After these recent Drake and Josh mashups, I'm convinced that the theme is actually utter genius--but the original simply used the wrong vocal and instrumental pairings.

Today, 10 January 2021 marks one year since I watched this gem for the first time. I couldn't sleep the night I heard it, that energetic, catchy and somewhat nostalgic it was. Today, 10 January 2022 marks two years since I watched this mashup. Genius, absolutely genius. If someday, they bring Drake and Josh for a reboot(which is highly unlikely because of allegations on Drake) I would love to see William producing the score. A little late but 10th of January 2023 marks 3 years since I listened this track. Things happened and well, Drake is not really in limelight anymore but Josh has a role in Nolan's Oppenheimer, so something okay happened.
