In this video I test a newly developed horn lens for the Fostex T900A super tweeter. I purchased these tweeters with the goal of improving the sound quality by replacing the existing front horn lens with my own design which uses my ES horn flare curvature.

I don't know of any musical instrument that plays over 10kHz. this is also where my hearing taps out. 🙄

It seems like this shows plenty of spectral content up that high. Are you also accounting for overtones and not just the fundamental? pubs.aip.org/view-large/figure/83980077/3715_1_f2.jpg

Really love your work and videos! Curious what tools you use for Horn design development - hornresp? akabak? Would love it if you could share any useful literature on design theory.

For these high frequency horns I don’t use any simulation software. Just careful design in Solidworks. I’ve tried Akabak and had limited success getting it to replicate my real world tests.
