I don't find it in the least mechanical. For me, it's poetic and beautifully coloured. I like the often slower tempi which emphasise the poetry but under Ts'ong's fingers these slower moments never drag.
Hi MadameDoolally. Finally, we can talk about what you said 7 years ago which rings a bell. This is not the first time you have trashed an artist of Asian descent. You said outrageous things about Asians which should not go without noticing and should be countered (ie. Lang Lang was at the receiving end of your unhinged bigotry and stereootyping more than 7 years ago). There are European cellists/pianists/ violinists/ that are 'bad' and I mean 'bad' (chop chop playing) I have heard them play and would rather not spend my time hearing them.
