@@erianortega5966 its distracting for the dancer because if her pointe shoes were too loud then she cant focus on her dance and the steps. Idk abt other people tho...

As a dancer, turns have always been my weak point. I have a solid triple flat and a sometimes triple en pointe (on my good side). On my bad side, it's a double. Fouette turns en pointe terrify me but since I'm taking 4 ballet classes a week this summer maybe I'll give it a shot. P.S. this week is my 10 year anniversary of when I started dance!! (I'm 14)
I did ballet about 25 years ago when I was a kid. I did it for like 6 years and was on point etc…I just recently started practicing again and I am amazed that I still know how to do the moves even though it’s been so long. My balance is crap but my muscle memory still knows how to do it intuitively. So crazy
What ballet students hear: And then pirouette around and end in first position, then go into classical position. What non ballet people hear: Turn first position leap elegant tutu classical position position. Yes, I do take lessons.

6:39 Here’s a tip my teacher told my class Because people tuck under when they plié to the front, when your at the barre keep you arm on your back and just plié to the front and feel every time you tuck and try to stop it well keeping your lark on your lower back.

Hello everyone! I might not get noticed but I was wondering if yall could help me. For the past few months I have been wanting to join ballet again. I did it when I was younger and I regret quitting it to this day. I want to join ballet again, but I know it is a time commitment and it costs a lot. This wouldn't be a problem, if I wasn't in marching band for this year. Sadly, there is no backing out of it now. My mom has already paid for everything, and it will be going on for most of the year. I am currently still doing ballet stretches to regain my flexibility. What should I do? Thank you all who do help
I don't know much about your life but can't u like train at home for a bit like doing stretches and easy ballet exercises until the time in the marching band is over and then join ballet again? 😅
Yea she looks older to me but then again i cant tell with americans cuz they all look a lot older than they are when i meet them lol and they always assume im in my early teens when im 25 🙈
