FOUND: 1970 Mustang Mach 1 in Texas Pasture 

It's very sad to see what happens to someone's cherished ride after he or she passes away. It's just an unfortunate fact of life, the big wheel keeps on turning and never looks back. Hopefully the new owner restores her back to her glory days. Keep up the great videos!

I just pulled a 1970 Mach 1 351C 4 speed shaker from a widowed women's garage.. Sat for 30 years in a garage ... all complete matching..3:50 Trac lock rear..

Dennis Collins that's a nice 70! I've got one too! But mine is dark ivy green Metallic with black stripes inside the whole time I've owned it and green interior with front and rear spoilers and slats. It's a manual steering, manual brake, no ac car. I've owned it since 85 and I'm the 3rd owner. It's really nice to see one saved!

My first car, purchased in 1973 was a 1970 Mach 1. Light green metallic exterior with the window slats. Interior was the deluxe white vinyl like this car which Ford called “comfort weave”. Hardly a day goes by that I don’t think about that car and how I would build it today! Glad to see this car is going to a new home where it will be fixed up and cared for.

Great video. For all you people keep looking you may never know what you will find. There is a closed down junk yard in Seattle with some cars that were pushed off down a steep bank. I looked around a few years ago and one of the cars is a 70 boss 302. There is no way to get it out. It is wrecked in the back. Engine is missing. Blackberries have covered all the cars now.

This is just fantastic that you are doing this. I can’t express how important it is that your team are saving cars like this. Please do not just use this as a parts car. I am truly interested in purchasing one of your complete cars as I have owned several mustangs in the past and am looking for one going into retirement for a toy. Great videos keep them coming.

Just recently came across a 1970 Boss 302 in a building full of Shelbys, Boss 302s, Mach 1s and I got one of the Bosses!

The worst part about finding an old classic that is rotting away. When the owner doesn't want to sell and believes they are going to restore it one day themselves. They never do and car continues to decay and rot for another few decades.

I for the life me. Can't understand why. Someone in this day and age would pull a nice Muscle car out of storage and put it in a field to rust. I relize someone died. I would either start to fix it up or sell it for top dollar. Sell the damn thing and let someone restore it. Put it back on the road. Great job Dennis in finding this gem. Before it's to late. Shawn

Its got the rear window louvers, nice. Restomod coyote. Needs front and rear spoilers and a shaker scoop. Gun Metal Grey Metallic. Side exaust kit. Cammed coyote, six speed manual. Also needs WIDE rubber, on cobra rims, willwood brakes.

Nice, should have the 2 bolt main, closed chamber heads. 351C 4V is a fun engine built correctly.

So happy the state I live in our inspection sticker goes right on the license plate. Some of those inspection stickers like in Texas or Pennsylvania are hideous on the windshield

If I am not mistaken. The turn signals that are missing are the same as the ones used on a Ford Maverick.

Hi to the Collins family! Saw Dennis a few times on Fast and Loud and when I came across Dead or Alive and Coffee Walk I decided to see what Dennis had going on and I have been an avid follower ever since! I respect what you are doing, especially when you bring a car back from the edge of death and make them live again. As a songwriter I was inspired to write a set of lyrics from the perspective of one of these rare classics, rotting away, dreaming of the day it was new. The car is not a specific model so it could apply to any car or truck...... The working title is too far gone, and it goes from the time it was left to rot and decay, until a man comes along and opens it's door to find the VIN tag has interesting history with it, he trys for twenty years to rescue the car till one day he succeeds and comes with truck and trailer to rescue this special car,. Sorry for being long winded but, Dennis what you and your family and team at your shop are doing is inspiring to say the least, and I wanted to say so and let you know that you also inspired a song, well lyrics anyway, music for it is next! Love the videos and love what you guys do! Keep up the good work, thanks

I'm not a massive fan of the Mach 1 to me it looks like someone took the ugly stick to a fastback and went ham on it. but it's always nice to see a iconic car being saved from rusting away and being saved for the next generation of car people

Nice! A true barn/field fined. No shaker option, noticed it was Auto. What happened to engine? I assume it was there. 351 Cleveland strong engine. Don't recall too many black/white interior.. Rare? Wonder if they kept build sheets hidden in seats.etc.?
