Here is a complete custom truck it’s a 1969 F100 sitting on 2003 Crown Vic rolling chassis. This means the 4.6 L V8, automatic transmission, stronger frame, upgraded suspension, and every other modern amenity the Crown Vic could offer.

Gotta give the guy a lot of credit. He and his son think things out before doing the job. Great job guys, it’s not easy doing a build that very few have done before. can’t wait to see the build all done👍

I do like the way you took off the body and the nose in one piece. Good job.

Very informative. Have you ever seen anyone use the CV trunk floor as part of the bed? I have a trunk in the floor of my truck and I find the hidden space to be great for tool storage.

I haven’t seen it done but yea it would be nice to have that hidden space to keep things out of sight

Good deal guys. If I wasn't old and worn out I believe I would be looking into stuffing in Toyota and Honda guts into cars like the PT Cruiser and other good looking cars that have junk running gear in them. The Honda and Toyota's will go 3 and 4 hundred thousand miles easily. I'll bet if you could find a good combination of cars to swap you could make a killing. There are nice little cars with either junk motors or trannys. Something to think about. If you can do the Crown Vic swaps I think the smaller cars would be gravy once you figured it out.

You should just take a Crown Vic and turn it into a truck. With a little cutting and wielding, it's doable. Plus getting parts are lot easier.

Looks like you cut all the wiring to the doors, did you run into a problem with the door open light staying on? I started cutting mine apart using your videos so thank you so much for the help!

Yall do know the body dismounts from the chassis simply by removing 15 or so bolts right?
@HollerBoysGarage
@HollerBoysGarage 4 года назад
Mdubb254 yes if I was just going to use the frame and build it original then that’s what I would of done. But instead you have to cut the body off to keep the crown Vic dash and use the floor to keep everything Crown Vic on the inside.

I plan on letting mine idle while I cut it apart so when it stalls I know I unhooked a wire I need. I hate wiring and wish I had a way to ask these questions directly to you
