I owned one of these cars back in the day, unlike this one it was an 'automatic', still to this day the only automatic I've ever driven. What a fantastic car it was, had to get rid of it though due to its return of 17 miles to the gallon. Petrol was around 30p to the gallon then but the price was shooting up on a regular and at an alarming rate. Incidentally..look at the front sidelights on it, note the lens slightly protrudes above the wing, this feature was there so the driver could check the lights were working without having to leave the car. Daft I know, but true.
