ok quick question. Ive seen spoilers for magnolia park and that mmc cheats on fmc with her best friend, how do they move past something like that? I genuinely don’t understand how they can become found family with someone like that. I am asking bc ive seen so many people gush about how good these books are and as much as I want to check them out of curiosity, I absolutely hate the cheating trope and the more things I find out about it, the more I think I will absolutely hate it.
It’s a very toxic romance I will say there is a lot going on everyone has a lot of issues and in real life I would say that they would never end up together it would be too much but in the book it just works it’s not meant to be a relationship you aspire for I don’t think it’s just high society life and the drama filled relationships of all these people. The found family is very gossip girl in the way that all the rich kids grew up together in this very secluded world because it’s a very niche lifestyle and they have always looked out for each other.
