Don’t go swimming anywhere near creeks rivers or near the entrance to them. Wearing boots is a must elsewhere especially when traipsing through bush, mesh screening is a must especially when camping, oh again don’t camp near the creeks 😂 you might become a night time tent wrapped snack, don’t feed the wild dogs or leave food scraps especially if you have kids with you. Oh if you walk on reefs wear thick pair of old Nike’s etc, especially don’t tread on stone fish or pick up any kind of baby octopus. About covers it oh almost forgot jelly fish especially the blue ones or the little clear ones are especially nasty wear stockings in salt water not kidding Wear sunscreen rash vest and a hat. Most of all have fun 😊

those waters look trecherous. obviously an area where a guided tour with experienced handlers is pretty much mandatory. I can see those tidal runs and other river and creek areas could turn against you fast without guideance.
