I work at Burlington, and I can confirm that the bags are real. They come from stores that either had a overstock or couldn't sell. Sometimes, the bags will come straight from the vendor with the original vendor tag on them. I've never seen LV at mine, we usually just MK every now and again and sometimes we get coach but it's rare. Just in case anyone was wondering. That mall is huge, oh my gosh
soccerchick9841 You can tell NONE of those Louis Vuitton bags were new. They all looked second hand and all were older styles that are not even being sold at the boutiques. So I highly doubt any of those were new with tags.
soccerchick9841 I can see coach or mk being at those stores but LV? that makes zero sense. they are very particular to where they sell their bags. they had a section at a Macy's and didn't want them selling there anymore so they immediately removed it.

If your going buy a Louis Vuitton I recommend buying from the actual store the bags from there are vintage and way over priced! Also there is a Facebook group where you find them for much cheaper a lot of people can tell right away if a bag is fake. I've been saving one & I will totally recommend looking up Facebook groups (:

The Katy mills mall Burlington sells pre loved LV. I went there looking for a particular LV wallet to go with my bag. the LV items are in great condition but not much cheaper that normal resale value so beware of that. Katy Mills mall is about 30 minutes from me.
They are way overpriced and are vintage items. You can save a trip and go to Burlington.com they sell them on their website too. I would recommend to rather look on websites like Tradesy or the real real or a Luxury closet where you can get a second hand bag for less and you can find better bags not just vintage and they even have new items or like new.
I’m here in Katy and our department stores have wonderful brand names at discounted prices! Tjmaxx is my fave. I got a beautiful monogram blush classic Calvin Klein tote for under $70 marked down almost 70%.
Okay...Katy is actually a suburb of Houston. It’s not a “city.” That particular mall is one of many in Houston. We have a number of Marshall’s, TJ Max, Ross and Burlington stores. It may have something to do with Houston being the 4th largest city in the nation 😉
Georgie George Sorry, Friend...but Katy is definitely it’s own incorporated “city”, as is many of the other suburbs surrounding Houston, i.e. Sugar Land, Pearland, Pasadena, Baytown, The Woodlands, etc. Due to the rapid growth in the area, it seems as if it’s not it’s own city, but the city has just spread out to the suburbs & u can’t tell where Houston ends & the suburbs begin. As a matter of fact, Katy sets on 3 different counties...Harris, Ft.Bend & Waller. Put some respeck on our “city”!😜

This is absolutely true that brand new Louis Vuitton never is discounted in any way. However these are not new... They are preloved, runway & photo shoot props, and displays. They are real, they are refurbished, and they are expensive! My Dillard's carries this used department as well. If you're in the market for one, it's worth checking out. I don't find them to be highly discounted(maybe 15-20%), but you can get some older models they no longer offer. HTH. ✌️
ꫝꪖzꪖrᦔꪮꪊડ No she’s right but those are bags that are pre-loved from a LXR & Co. they have a program where you buy the bag for 6 months & then you can sell it back for a predetermined amount. The bags also come from companies that rent out luxury brands ( yes this is a thing ). Louis only sells online, in their boutiques & Select high end department stores like Saks Fifth Avenue. They are excluded from all sales events. When there’s leftover stock they get shipped back to their warehouses where they are burned.
My thing is, if you wanna drop a grand on a bag, why not just buy one from the actual retailer and get one brand new and pay a little more? Just seems a little pointless to me

no hate at all!! just warning....you have to be careful with shopping at places like marshalls, ross, burlington coat factory etc... a lot of the products especially makeup and hair products DO come from vendors aka other retailers besides the intended so the products are not guaranteed. the makeup can be fake, the hair products can be watered down or replaced with another kind of shampoo inside the bottle. i've gotten hair products from marshalls etc. before and does not work the same or even smell the same or have the same quality as it would if i purchased it thru a salon. i also can confirm this from going to beauty school and all the teachers would warn us from getting hair products from places like that.

Authentic Louis Vuitton bags are only sold at self standing Louis Vuitton stores or, at times, Saks Fifth Avenue. If you take your bag from Burlington to an authentic Louis Vuitton they will show you how to tell a real Louis Vuitton bag. Just didn't want anyone else thinking they could get an authentic Louis at Burlington or any discounted store. Sure with you could. I'd be first in line.
Saks is not the only department store that sells Louis Vuitton (i.e. Neiman Marcus, Bloomingdales, Barneys) as Louis Vuitton has concessions in those department stores. They operate as a freestanding store within those stores and are not subject to the department stores policies. The bags and accessories are second hand pieces from previous owners and not from photo shoots as those pieces go back to Louis Vuitton if they are on loan and not purchased.
I can confirm that in 2003 marshall's used to sell versace jeans and versace china for $69.99 for jeans and $39.00 for plates and cristal medusa bottle stoppers, yes !! I don't know about vuitton????????????????????

I work for LV and I know for a fact that those bags don’t come from overstock or photo shoots. LV puts all of their overstock/past season items on sale for the employees to buy at a discounted price for a limited amount of time. If they don’t sale they literally destroy them. I don’t think Burlington has permission to sell LV but they can get away with it because it’s preowned and I believe it’s like a 3rd party seller inside Burlington. That’s why you will never see a new LV bag there And again they never ever come from photo shoots Burlington doesn’t have a contract with LV and as a company they rather destroy the items than sell to other stores because they see it as a loss of profit.
I would be careful of purchasing Louis Vuitton from Burlington. I checked them out last week here in Massachusetts and 2 of the items were fake. It's sad and crazy that people can getaway with selling expensive items for unbelievable high prices. You're better off getting it from the actual designer store or pre loved from someone you know. Don't get duped!
i went to burlington and like everything was off brand so i’m like confused when i see you go in there and see LV, i live in arizona and the only place i get good deals is marshalls

Girl Austin has two huge malls with upscale stores (Barton Creek and The Domain) plus you're thirty minutes from the outlets in San Marcos. I went to college in San Marcos and miss shopping at the outlets. I live really close to Katy now and I'm honestly not a fan of Katy Mills. At least im only 30 minutes from The Galleria.
I think she means actual inside malls, like Barton is big but not as big as other malls in different city and the other mall is Lakeline and it’s so small, Austin does need more bigger malls!
