After quite a few very quiet hunting trips it was time to lift our game. So we split up in search of some freezer fillers and it wasn't long before we were back in the game. Join Ben, Paul, Leigh and I on another little adventure.
Great shot Robbo! Picked it perfect, sidled into the gully you thought amd bedded where you thought. You read the country like a book! Great lessons shared, thanks!
I’m going to have to walk around with my hands in the air so I don’t get blamed for pushing him. It might make carrying the cameras a bit difficult🤣😂. Glad you enjoyed it mate👍👍
Been quiet up my way to, it is that time of year though I guess. Camera very active up until November. Once December hit there’s been next to nothing on it. Great video as always fellas 👍
Well patience pays off once again, well done fella's and a good feed for all, good to see you back in the good country and looking forward to some more of this Happy Hunting !!!
Robbo I think you need to give Leigh more tasks to occupy his mind otherwise he's up to no good. A pleasure to watch and listen to the banter between you two, it's hard to beat good times with good mates.😂😂
@@BoltActionProductions sure am finally moved and got some land of my own, started my own electrical company and slowly building up places to get access to shoot. If you’re ever up Goulburn way let me know.
Very happy for you mate👍. I know that’s what you’ve wanted for quite some time. Fantastic when a plan comes together👌. I’m sure we’ll come and annoy you at some stage🤣😂
Excellent shot at 400+ yds with the 7mm REM Mag. My dad would also say “ it’s not a hill, it’s an incline” and that included vertical drops. Great vid boys I love the compadre it’s what makes the hunt. Pretty young Fallow Buck I’d say he’s only pushing his second or third head. Oh well the meat makes the hunt. Luv y’a work boys ❤😂
Thanks mate. The 7mm never lets me down if I do my part. Those inclines aren't reducing their angles as I get older I can assure you. That Fallow should be absolute prime eating. Thanks for watching.
As usual great video and successful hunt. Well done. What and where did you get the eye protection on the back of the swaros. Nothing worse than sun bleeding in from the side. Cheers steve
Hi. I love your posts. Which state are you hunting in. About 20years ago I used to live and hunt central NSW between Dubbo and Orange. Pigs rabbits fox’s goats. I don’t shoot Roos (?) and I’ve been told there are deer there as well. Keep up the posts.
@@BoltActionProductions just a side note, there is a hunting program on foxtel from Australia and one from NZ, you guys put together a far better package, it would rate well..
Great video as always Robbo really enjoyed it .Could questions if I may What are the eye peice covers on the binos please , The Stick rife rests what are they called . And is that the original swaro scope on the rifle for a couple years back Cheers mate Michael
Thanks mate. Nice to know they keep people entertained👍. Here’s the link to the eyepiece covers. www.marsupialgear.com/collections/essential-gear/products/bino-bandit-glare-guard. The stick rests that we use are no longer manufactured but Primos and Cabelas have similar. I originally had a Swarovski Z5 3.5-18x44 on this rifle and when they released the Z5 2.4-12x50 I swapped over to that. Thanks again for watching👍👍
G'day again and always great to watch you all in action and have a laugh. Just wondering if you brought the "wife along", would the hunt be more "directional" lol. Great stuff. Andy
The Woodleighs, and the others mentioned have their place but technology has advanced since a lot of those were designed. The. ELDX gets the win for me as it is more versatile, performing both well at long and short range. The others are more traditional projectiles more suited to heavier animals at normal hunting ranges. Glad you enjoyed it video mate👍👍
Nice video, Do you still use April to hunt with ? havent seen a video with her in it for a while, just gotten myself an english pointer pup, training her now
Thanks mate. April hunts with Leigh just about every day as they go for their daily walk. No rifle in hand but she’s always finding deer. Normally I’d be up with Leigh, April and the family hunting in the North East right now but I’m afraid I am out of action for some time 🙄
@@BoltActionProductions not good, hopefully you heal up from the issue, ild like to be down there but live in QLD for the moment and public land hunting doesn't exist here
@@mathewemery3330 we certainly don’t take our free range hunting opportunities for granted down here. Very privileged👌. Leigh nailed two Fallow for the freezer just the other day. April was on to them well before Leigh could pick them out
@@BoltActionProductions thank you very much I'll be saving for one another question I have is how is ben finding the hyper lite back pack would you recommend it as good back pack to carry meat out.
Don’t start me on this notification business mate. So many people have told me that they have been unsubscribed and or the notification 🛎️ has been disabled. It pisses me off I can assure you and I really have no way to notify everyone to check that they are still subscribed and have the bell icon enabled 🙄
