More power to you that you showed such great restraint!! I thought some of the prices were high, but everything was in excellent shape. Often when I buy plants, I select something after I pull off dead leaves and check for critters. Those were extremely healthy plants. Well grown and properly cared for. That's what you're paying for, and I'm ok with that. The little 2" pots were very reasonable so you can buy several an pot them up together or individually and then reap the harvest over time. I don't know of any such nurseries here in Tennessee but they've got to be here somewhere! I'm bound and determined to locate them, otherwise, I'm going to need to go on a field trip!!
I agree. Some of their plants are expensive, such as the $200 micans lol. Have you checked facebook? Search "Tennessee houseplants" on facebook and maybe there are some local groups you can join! People like to share their latest purchases and experience there.
I spent the whole afternoon there just to look around.

Wow... I went to my local lowe's and they had NOTHING I wanted. A nursery I found in Brooklyn, NY just last year is now closed b/c of the coronavirus and the only option I have is online shopping for plants that you showed in this video. That plant store would've made a small fortune from me if it was located here in NYC and was open for curbside pickup ... DARN! Thanks for sharing and great choice. I was saying to the screen that you should go with the first one and it looks like that was the one you chose.
Yes that was the one I bought! I'm sorry the nursery you like in your area is close now. This is sad. :( Try join some local plant groups on fb (eg. search NY houseplants on fb). People usually share good information online
Theres a nursery in BK called Brooklyn Plantology. Theres another nursery in Hastings called Mossy Fern. Check them out they are open

@@SunnySideUpwithNicole Thank you I will check it out (soon lol). I have to watch my pennies right now. I have one more plant coming that I purchased at the beginning of this month and will hopefully be here this week. Mailing is so badly delayed lately...and for good reason. Again, good choice of plant.
I bought my first Hoyas during quarantine and Obovata and Krimson Queen are my first cutting beauties for sure . Tfs Great deal on the obivata I paid that for cuttings but I’m happy because I couldn’t go out !
What a wonderful selection at this nursery. I dont love the prices too much but they do have harder to find.plantts👍👍. Thanks for sharing and stay blessed.
Just curious would you ever take requests from people who want plants in your local area that isn't available in their state? For example, sell the plant for the original price+shipping+your fee for doing the work of finding it=total price? I see so many plants in your videos and others that I would rather purchase from you for a fair price versus the online sellers who triple mark up the price.
Enjoyed the video very nice nursery I could understand you very well with the mask I wear one when I go out most of the time I’m the only one wearing one my husband is taking chemotherapy so his immune system is low thank you for sharing the plant you got is very pretty price was good too
I am from Mainland China. Yea birkin could be expensive but I started to see more of them in my local area lately. I have a feeling that the price will drop pretty soon.
The one on Farley St. Overland Park location. If you are looking for anything specific, I would suggest you give them a call and check the availability first. Good luck!
