Be still my heart, oh man if this car were almost any color but black I would be on the phone with you tomorrow. We would be talking numbers for sure. What an absolutely wonderful story and a great find. I hope you enjoy it and when it goes down the road you and the new owner have happy memories.

The 67 Coupe de Ville had a 429 cid V-8. The 500 wasn't released until 1970 and it was exclusive to the Eldorado through the 1974 model year. The 472 replaced the 429 in 1968 and was used through the end of the 1974 model year. In 1975 the 500 was the only engine available in Cadillacs until the Seville was released in 1976 with a 350.

Yup, it looked like you were a member of the "Rat Pack" in the 1960's on the Vegas Strip with that attire and driving the 1967 Black Caddy. 🙂 Cool car.

Hey Becky, Congratulations. I was a Mid-Wife to a Colt when I was 12 years old. Laid the placenta down and had to find the missing piece. While my Dad and the Vet were on there way to the House. I found the piece and got to really know a Mare. Lol!! Well when you are raised on a horse farm in Philadelphia you have to do what you have to do. The good old days that was 5 years after that Cadillac was made. Great Video Bob, Thank You 🙏

That makes me excited to get my dads 1960 Plymouth done. Think “Old Man “ from Pawn Stars with the black Chrysler Imperial! My dad bought it new in 1960 and it came with a record player

its going to be a 429 cubic inch engine the 500 wasn't available until 1970 and that was only in the Elderado's. Not sure why everyone wants to say oh its 500 when its not lol as for the rest the minute it fired up for a second that told me all I need to know, I'd of bought it and brought it home lol I had a 72 coupe deville with the 472 and it would average 16 mpg on the highway out here in texas in town about 9 lol

Starting in 1960 my dad bought his first Cadillac. After that he would only drive Cadillacs and bought a new one every two years. In 1967 he bought a Fleetwood Brougham. With the folding trays in the back and footrests, my sister and thought we had arrived. I was just a kid but it started my love affair with Cadillac's. Enjoy your Coupe Deville. Awesome car. Cheers!!!

That one has the cancer like my ‘68 Coupe had. When you get that fixed, you should make it a slick top. It looks better and it won’t rust again. Mine had power vent wings and it always cracked me up that I had a 2 door car with 6 window buttons!

In the mid 80's I purchased a 1967 Cadillac Fleetwood Brougham from the original owner. What a beautiful machine. It had the fold down tray tables in the back seat. I parted with it about 8 years ago and I do miss driving it.

68 had the same style but the 472 engine which shared design with the later 500. If u ever get a 1968 4 door with the thinner c pillar, I'll trade you a 2 owner 1950 Studebaker for it .
