I was never taught or allowed to freely wear makeup growing up. Always felt less pretty going out with no makeup. Decided at 45 to learn the basics. This was a great starting point. Thank you!! ❤
I'm sliding into 60's and feel I need a little more to m skin. I haven't used much in the past. I've used liner, mascara, lip liner/ stick. But I'm ready to branch out and learn more and what you displayed seems simple enough for me. Thank you!
Watched your tutorial i'm 44 and tried foundation for the 1st time while watching your video i applied my moisturizer then my foundation I'm proud to say it came out good😍🥰 thanks for the video
Thank you thank you for this actual beginners video! I never used makeup all my life until now (age 26) and your video really helped me get down the basics. If only I could stop blinking when putting mascara
I've attempted make up several times and gave up becuase alot of tutorials make it complicated. But today I was actually able to do my make up without the stress. Thanks for the video. You definitely helped me out!!
Thank you for making it simple le and to the point! I don’t need all the contouring and 50 steps- I’ve been looking for a tutorial like this that gives me just enough to look nice on a day to day basis. This I can do!!!💖
same! i watched this and tried it and is seen it awhile ago but my foundation makes my face look so much more pink than my neck and it looks terrible so i need to get new foundation
Perfect video! Explains it so simply. I agree with you. People get inspired by the dramatic makeup looks and become disappointed when they try because they don't have the essential skills yet to get there. Often times it leads them to not want to wear make up at all. This video sets a wonderful foundation (pun intended lol) to work your way up doing that. 2 thumbs up!
This is super easy to follow! I'm new to make up, so this definitely helped a lot. I also love your personality. You're definitely not over the top like other beauty bloggers.
This is such a great video for people like me who is in to makeup way later in life! I am still learning but this is very simple and you look so natural beautiful! xox
@@geminirising633 I was just like you and @houseJamisha I started way late like late 40s early 50s I will be 53 in April. I got to wanting to try it because my daughter's are beautiful and when they wear makeup they looked amazing and I wanted that .I just never took the ti.e to learn of course we didn't have you tube tutorials either growing up .this lady is amazing at teaching us .patience and step by step
I love it!!!! DIdnt feel like i needed to go out and get specific brush or another damn product after i watched....You made me feel better about my simple foundation/brow/eye liner amd lip gloss look that like to go. When your naturally pretty you dony need all that extra stuff
I never wear make and I am close nearing 50 yrs old. I have only worn make up once in my entire life and that was for my wedding 8 years ago. Although the make up artist did a phenomenal job I felt uncomfortable because I don't like a dramatic look. I would've preferred something simple but beautiful but natural looking. Since then I have been looking into wearing make up but really, really simple and natural looking. After spending a ridiculous amount of money trying to find a good foundation to match my skin tone, I finally did and absolutely love putting on foundation only (because I don't know how to apply anything else....lol) so now I wanted to add concealer After searching You Tube videos for 3 days, I came across you video. You were perfect! Just what I was looking for. Someone who taught you how to beat your face with minimum effort and still look natural and beautiful. You have no idea how much this video has helped me. It may seem very small or inconsequential to some but for me I am GRATEFUL for your content. THANK YOU SO VERY MUCH!! I followed your tutorial and now when my husband and I go out to the Christmas party at his job I can look extra amazing!! lol Again Thank you!!
OMG THANK YOU...I am almost 40 and have NEVER done makeup in my life. I want to start and all these videos are SUPER intimidating (talking about beginners, yeah right) but I actually saved yours because I think I can do it. Thank you so much.
I LOVE this video! I have been so discouraged by other tutorials. I feel like I actually learned something I can do. You definitely have a new subscriber here. I hope you keep this raw and real tutorials coming! 💙🙌🏾‼️
Awesome video . I see god in you wanting to help and show others I'll be trying this basic beautiful look . I'm new to makeup and natural semi makeup beauty is gorgeous. Thanks for this tutorial
I've watched soo many beginners foundation and concealer makeup and everyone has been so dramatic doing extra stuff I get lost then I'll run it to your video and it's so simple and I'm so happy and I'm so pleased so thank you for just showing me those couple of little steps or where I can get that nice little fresh face look and then when I'm ready to be dramatic like you said then I can go and be dramatic so thank you❤
Please list the names and color of the products in the description box. Thanks for your cooperation. Great demonstration for beginners. Your makeup looks flawless, and pretty.
As a guy, we're not taught how to use makeup. But I've got a big event to go to in a couple of weeks and needed a place to learn the basics before I go out there to the make-up counter. Thanks for the tips, I have a better understanding of what I need to know before to talking to the sales rep. I never knew about the triangle thing with the concealer and I thought foundation and base were the same thing 🤷♂ Thanks for making this video.
love this video I wanted a simple make up tutorial for my everyday work look 🖒 and you just got right to the point so I didn't have to keep forwarding through pointless chatter lol
Thank you dear! I am so lost with makeup application, being 64 and never having used it. I’ve been more into skincare with some eye and lip colors. I admire how so many ladies slay that perfect skin look. I am going to Sephora to pick up some basics and will you as my guide! 😘
Thank you thank you. So simple. I don't really wear makeup, but for special occasions I will. I've watched countless tutorials (ugghhh) for only just applying foundation. Beautiful and simple.
Thank you 💜💜 this is exactly what i ve been searching for . I onpy recently got a decebt makeup kit , too bad i know nothing about makeup xD !! So thank you
Omg. Thank you. I was looking for a basic, bare, and easy way to apply, not too much makeup to my skin. Now I have to find what's good for my skin. Thank you.
Thank you! Very simple. Thank you for using minimal products. I felt like every single video I clicked had like 15 different products for a basic look! Saving video.
First of all, girl you are so beautiful. Secondly, I was so frustrated when I was done with makeup my face was always so creamy and looked undone. This video has helped me to make it look better. ❤ Love all the way.
lol I see comments from 7yrs ago but here it is 2024 and it’s the best video so far! You get it sis! I just wanted something simple and easy and not frustrating 😅 If you see this thank you ❤
When you say moisturizer do u mean lotion .. how much primer do use .. do u put it on like lotion.. how do u blend your highlight.. how do u put on lashes PLEASE do another back to the basics tutorial showing these things
I paused at 3:12 and giggled so hard. Your eyebrows are PERFECT and I love the way you talk! Thanks for posting this, I had no idea about highlighting.
👏👏👏 Simple and classy. Very helpful. I'm a stay at home mom but I like a little makeup, yes to run errands! But I also have me to take care of and not to mention my fabulous hubby. I literally were sweat pants and a jacket everyday...but I'm determined to look put together on a simple level and you just showed me how so thank you 👏
Only video I have watched where basic actually means basic and I have learnt something I can actually use despite not being a heavy makeup user ,thanks.
Just what I needed! Thank you! Do you wet your beauty blender or just use it dry? I'm so tired of watching 3 hour long foundation tutorials and I never actually learn anything at the end of them. Ha!
Your video is so simple it makes me feel like I could actually succeed at applying my makeup, lol. All I wear is eyeliner and gloss. But, now I want to try the foundation and concealer for more of a flawless, natural looking glow. Thank you.
+Lamoy Russell yes you can use it if your skin gets oily. I used a setting powder by mac but it was cut out the video somehow. I applied it after the concealer . thanks for watching!
Is it only me that this happens to, foundation just makes my skin look wayyyy worse , even when i exfoliate, moistureise, and prime , (with a 60$ primer) It just brings out my textured skin and little bumps . I think foundation is only for people with already flawless skin 🤷🏽♀️
Thank you thank you thank you! I'm new to make up and I love the way you went straight to the point! I have so much make up now and I try to use them at least one time! Thank you again for making things so simple for me! I don't do the lashes but my face is finally nice! I haven't tried the highlight like the way you did but my make up still came out flawless in your voice
Thank you.... Finally, a tutorial that shows the proper why to apply foundation and the highlighting thing. I’ve got this now. I’ve been wearing makeup for years now...and, it’s nice to know I’m on the right road:-). Cheers to ya:-)
You have such beautiful skin! I wish my skin was as clear as you! Thank you so much for the tips! I really wanted to know how to wear basic makeup and you really nailed it!
Love this. I'm late in life learning make up and watching this reminded me of my friend trying to explain without showing me and makes it so simple to do. I was just at the store freaking out cuz I didn't know what to buy and was like imma watch some videos before looking for concealer xD
You are a Star; Having not worn any makeup for a few years now this simple and basic method will be perfect for me to re-introduce my skin back to normality. I thank you for keeping it so simple; thank you for your wonderful display of products and thank you for keeping it so simple for your wonderful and good delivery... Blessed Shalom xOx
