Thank you so much for this. The tour is really simple which I like and you are really good at explaining. I am hoping to go to Royal Holloway for Classics and Comparative Literature and it has taken me ages to find a proper video.
Hi! So there are multiple bathrooms along the corridor. I would say for me I was sharing 3 bathrooms (5 showers, 7 toilets) with about 40 other girls. Which sounds like a lot! But I never had to wait for a shower, there was always one free, and the bathrooms were cleaned everyday. So I found it absolutely fine, but I was never worried about sharing bathrooms with quite a lot of people. If that's something you really don't want to do then Founders might not be the place for you! Hope that helps X
Gemma it's not too bad! I think it just meant I brought less stuff overall. Since it's every term it still feels worth decorating the room and bringing non-essentials- I think it's a small con of a few extra hours packing and unpacking compared to the pros X

+Polly Jemima Jen says that the food was a bit temperamental, sometimes really great and sometimes a bit meh. They did have good variety at least, always good vegetarian and vegan options as well. But never terrible! However it's more expensive than you'd imagine; 4 meals a week works out at about £10. So if you're clever with your food shopping you can eat in the pantry for a lot of meals, pasta soup etc. (almost always eat breakfasts in the pantry!) and save a decent amount of money. Washing isn't so bad, she did about a load every 2 weeks, costs are very much dependant on how much you go out, go into London etc. Egham is not a very expensive place to live, so if you budget well you shouldn't have a problem :) hope that helps!
