I want to thank you so much for giving us a Tour of St. Augustine! I was there with my parents in the 70's, they came to visit me and they loved it as well! Thank You again!!
Wonderful video. Why, you two might be teenagers after you get home after drinking the FofY water! Ha! I’m sure I speak for many of your Subscribers who might be disabled and can no longer travel to see these great sites in our own beloved country. Thank you for documenting your adventures in your vlogs, and thank you for being the wonderful God-fearing people you are!❤️🙌❤️
Thank so much for taking us with you ♥️. You seem to have a great time and so much that you are gave out, now that's what I call the best vacation ever ♥️🤗♥️
Elizabeth has a glow in this video. I liked the editing, the music selections, photo insertions, it was a fun video. It's round all right, but its not a ball. We are on the firmament, with the waters above and the waters below, just like it says in the Bible. Or a simulation recreation after CERN pulled us into a black hole in 2012 perhaps (Max Loughan popularized that), and that would then explain why it's flat, because computer game maps are flat. Glad to see you two enjoying Florida. I was only there once, back in 1993. I was there for a funeral and I never even thought about going out on the beach. Now of course I wish I did but maybe I'll go back one day.
Thank you for showing your trip there. I love Saint Augustine and have been many times. I usually skip bv the tourist things, but it's good to learn about all that you saw. I've been to the fort but not the fountain of Youth. Thank you for explaining what you both learned and sharing with us.
I have been to Florence, Italy and saw David. He was magnificent. The one in Florida looks great also. Thanks so much for showing us beautiful St. Augustine!
I always thought Santa Fe was the oldest city, but thank you for clearing that up. You did a great job in this video, bringing peace and happiness to my mind during these tumultuous times. Its nice to see people going about and living normal lives. Thank you!
Bill and Elizabeth, excellent job on your trip footage! I felt like I was there with you all. Thank you again for sharing your Florida trip with us. God bless you all!
Wow! Thank you so much for the wonderful tour of St Augustine! I've never been to Florida, and now I have to make sure St Augustine is on the itinerary when we finally make it.
This video is fantastic. I've been to St. Augustine before and and never saw it like you filmed it. Thank You so much for this wonderful tour. My husband and I are planning a trip to Florida and St. Augustine will certainly be on our list of places to visit. Glad you're home safe and sound. God bless.
Very interesting city. Beautiful scenery. Perfect picture of Elizabeth under the crawling tree. Thanks for sharing your vacation. Kindness and happiness, Teresa

I absolutely love that yall was able to go on this Fabulous trip, thank yall so much for sharing your experience with everyone!! Love you guys dearly ❤🥰❤
Thank you for the tour Bill and Elizabeth, I enjoyed it very much. Florida is one of the states I've never managed to make it to. I'd like to see it in person but I just can walk like a regular tourist. Videos like this fill the void for now.
Love St Augustine we try going once a year till the pandemic happened we were just planning a trip there soon. Years ago you could walk through the grave yard near the fort that I really enjoyed till they closed it to the public. Thanks for sharing
There's a lot of interesting areas around the Fountain of Youth to enjoy. I liked how Bill was only drinking half a cup to not get too Young. hehe Too funny! Fascinating video.
Thanks for this wonderful tour of St. Augustine. I went there as a child and then a few years ago we took some of our grandchildren there. It's such a great place to visit. So interesting!
Loved the video! We visited St. Augustine 17 yrs ago. Our boys were young so I didn’t get to pay close enough attention to the history. So thank you for the awesome narrating:) When we were there in 2005 is was a donation to your the fort. Beautiful area. And the weather looked glorious! We just got dumped with a bunch of snow in Northern Minnesota. It’s that heavy snow so it’s beautiful on the trees until the branches break off from the weight of the snow. And not so beautiful when we’re getting stuck in the driveway :(
The fort is amazing. When we went last summer we got in on our Senior National Parks pass. If you get back there you need to ask if they still accept them at that location.
Sorry for the error, lol I dislike when my tablet changes what I type, in this case quite different meaning lol once again I'm so sorry! Loved your trip!
St Augustine is my favorite place in my home state of Florida. So glad you enjoyed it so much. Hope you were able to go to the Columbia Restaurant and enjoy a 1905 salad and some yummy empanadas. Thank you for such a beautiful video.
The Castillo de San Marco fort was built with coquina, a limestone rock made from shells of sea life. abundant to this area. If you are down this way next winter, be sure to visit the beautiful coquina rock beaches of Marineland and Washington Oaks State Park, both just south of Anastasia Island where St. Augustine Beach is located. Marineland Beach is free and Washington Oaks has a modest $5 per vehicle fee. You can roam the lovely gardens, an historic home and enjoy the river vistas. There is also the smaller Ft. Matanzas nearby that offers a free boat ride & access to explore this old Spanish structure. Flagler County has numerous state parks that are beautiful & full of history with only a modest $5 fee. We are retired and mindful of spending money on touristy things, too. We live 2 blocks from this amazing coquina beach and love it here. The beaches and many parks are our entertainment.
St. Augustine were burned by invaders, the Spanish militia took on the monumental task of constructing a stone fort that would protect the city and its treasury from pirates, the British and other attackers. The Castillo is made from "coquina", a locally sourced stone-like compound made of shell and limestone.
Yes, apparently Pensacola was founded first, in 1559. But it had a period of time when it was not occupied. St. Augustine, founded in 1565, is the oldest continuously occupied city in North America.
You may not have deep pockets but your $15 fee to enter St Augustine has already been paid for. Because you are an Army veteran, you can get into any Federal Recreation site free. Paid for by your prior service to our country! We are retired army and went to Ft Pulaski by Savannah, Ga this past Saturday. We told the gatekeeper we are army veterans and showed our ID cards. We were given a "Military Pass" card and in we went! Our active duty son said he was recently at St Augustine and the passes are very much used there. Just ask for your "The National Parks and Federal Recreational Lands Pass" where you pay the entrance fee . Oh, and the card is good for you and three other adults.
Yes, I am aware of the National Parks pass for veterans. Thank you. And we almost always ask for veteran's discounts. But for some reason, I didn't even think about trying to use it at St. Augustine!
Thanks for taking us along! Also do you know the name of the globe creator? I’m very interested to know as I know a person who worked with Disney on some things like this.
This is who I was referring to - he came to Michigan from florida about 25-30 years ago. He built a Christian theme park in Michigan. Duane Plonta was his name. He passed away this past year. He donated his theme park and campground to a Christian camp in the thumb of Michigan. I wanted to send an article on him but I can’t post as a photo here.
