Four Against Darkness Upkeep Phase- 4AD Full Campaign Tutorial Part 3 

Just finished watching all your 4AD videos... it has inspired me to get out my copy and start playing again. I was so disappointed to see this was the final video, what was promised for the next one sounded great! Please come back and make more 4AD content!

I second the request to come back and make more 4AD content. I am just getting in to the game and have decided to make a guild of heroes instead of a set party based on your video. It looks like it will make things much more exciting and fun. I need to see what happens to the daring heroines, and two guys, next!

Adding phases like these between adventures really makes these kind of games shine. Thanks for walking us through your method - I'm definitely going to give it a go!

I didn’t really do much upkeep between dungeons. Just a few purchases here and there to make a character stronger. Or make a new one when one of them died. I would transfer equipment, sell it off, etc as needed, but otherwise I didn’t do much in between. This seems a much better way to keep track of all that information. Then my player cards won’t be so full. (I usually ended up with two cards per character, a play card and an inventory card)

So the wages that you pay the adventurers just kind of goes away? It would be fun to have some tables to spend the wages on, something like carousing.

I would really like to see how your are printing and binding your 4AD Books. I've been printing mine on standard 8.5x11 and 3 hole punch them and just put them in a binder. But your way looks much more portable

The wage system is really cool. I'm going to start using that.

Great work. I"ve used a banking system which costs 5% of my money per adventure. I"m going to experiment with guild-influence and recruitment rules. Thans for sharing the idea.

Amazing! I have just done my first upkeep and have used all your suggestions, it definitely adds a lot to the game, although sadly I didn't have anywhere near as much gold to spend as you did! Here's hoping the next dungeon's yield is better! I have just ordered Dark Waters and excited to play this along with you. Thanks for this video series, it has really helped me get into the game and bring it to life.

Just found your channel, really like how you do it with the upkeep and stuff =) I just give my heroes full health and sell there stuff for gold =) But I like you take on it and thinking of maybe doing somthing like it myself. Looking forward for more videos =)

It would make sense that a guild would field interviews for recruits. It would be fun to roll two or three classes and pick from the "candidates."

I noticed when you created the Elf you left off all info about it's bonuses versus Orcs which would come in Handy vs another Orc Boss

This is amazing! Makes managing the party so much more fun!
