I think this solidifies the “X artists, 1 prompt” format as my favorite. I adore seeing the similarities and differences in their interpretations and styles.

A suggestion for the Halloween period: The False Bone Game, drawing creatures based on those crazy bone decorations that make no sense like the Bone Sewing Machine.

In Irish, Ruairí means "Red king" Rua, referring to a person or animal with red hair and Rí, king. So Karina's character is The Red King in Irish ^-^

I love all of these characters!! Special shout out to Jacob for making a curvy sexy lady WITH A TUMMY!! So often 'curvy' is portrayed as butt and boobas but still tiny waist and flat stomach. Nothing wrong with that but it's so lovely to see a lady with a belly still describes as curvy and hot.

This wasn't mentioned in the episode, but Sierra and Nevada are definitely 5'2" and 6'4" respectively in my mind.

I love a good ol' "Let's all draw someone hot" challenge.

When Reb said that she got burnt out drawing Naruto, my next thought that can't be described as a scream was "BURNOUT. CALL HER BURNOUT!" cause I think it could fit her backstory well, right? Obvious fire motif, plus the added note of her being able to kick your ass without question if you're not careful enough.

The most fucked up thing about the Drawfees is that not only are they amazing artists but like…. a ghost hand that becomes little hands? Who comes up with that?! The creativity is off the charts always.

I feel like Roary is the elusive third magical crafter. Artificers are like mechanical engineers, alchemists are like chemical engineers, and Roary is the bio engineer. Explains why Luce is one of his experiments. Thing is, I don't know what the magical equivalent of bio engineer is. Don't say necromancy, that's the magical equivalent of composting, fight me.

So glad Jacob was on the same page as my thinking when seeing Karina’s character. Got a deep voice, but keeps it upbeat around people who don’t know his secrets. Giving me vibes of someone who would lean in and address his brother as “dear brother” or “baby brother” but has such a soulless sound when he says it or is in a darker moment. Hearing him say something like “why YES! It is… quite remarkable what magic is capable of, isn’t it. Wouldn’t you agree, baby brother?”

ProZD is definitely the VA for Rory once the Luce extended universe gets its first season.

while not in this particular episode, Julia is also working on this prompt, but we won't see her result for several years because she is actually perfecting gene editing to craft this character in a lab. I, for one, am _very_ excited to see what she comes up with!

26:00 Can I just say how much I appreciate Jacob drawing that lil tummy pudge? The roll? The bulge where the top ends and where the bottoms begin? Stop drawing chubby ladies that are flat in the torso. The clothes often make lil bulges and rolls and it’s not a bad thing, it’s cute and realistic and I feel validated.

These four give the the vibes of like, a Saturday morning cartoon villain gang? Sierra and Nevada are like the team rocket goofy duo that gets into shenanigans trying to be eeeeevil, Reb’s character feels like an anti hero/defector that left the villain group to help the protagonists and eventually joins them, and Roary is like the weirdly serious and scary main overarching villain leader that these shows sometimes get as they go on, like the diamonds in Steven universe

Every time Jacob reads the description, I think it's a song from Cats (2019) "This character puts you in mind of a ginger cat. They're very tall and thin. You would know them if you saw them for their eyes are sunken in. Their brow is deeply lined in thought, their head is highly domed. They wear a coat dusty from neglect, and their whiskers are uncombed."

I love all these designs but Jacob's one for some reasons looks like she could be a Owl House character and I'm in love

first time watcher here, hi! its been about a whole year since i drew something and art went from my main joy in life until middle school to my biggest and most hurtful struggle as an adult. I made the mistake to try to art for a living around 2016 and from that moment on my relationship with only went downhill, to the point where thinkin about drawing made me cry cuz not being able to feed myself thru it made me believe im bad at it and i would make a job every 3 months thru many breakdowns and tears. Last year I gave up on it, but it never stopped haunting me. It feels like something is missing. Your videos were always on my fed but i never watched cuz seeing happy artists made me cry. But after a very bad day i decided to watch today and im actually feeling better. It reminded me you can just draw for fun and be silly with,as always did before it became a job. And that I def need artist friends to be excited about my silly stuff also. Maybe it'll bring back the joy again. So thank you. I loved your designs and the chatting. Its so fun and wholesome. Def will be sticking around for more!❤

My headcanon is that the four of them are part of a villain team. Rory is the team leader (wizard), Sierra and Nevada are a will-they-won't-they couple (cleric and fighter respectively), and Naruto is an oblivious thembo (rogue). Now it's time for a four artists/one prompt hero team...

I know we make jokes about always complimenting Nathan, but I genuinely want to give kudos to Nathan's progress, specifically in rendering. Even using simple tricks he's picked up over the years, he's able to make it look so polished and detailed and he should be really proud of his progress.

Reb freaking crushed it! That was a breathtaking piece. Bring her back for 30 seconds drawings, to take her down a notch.

the most valuable thing drawfee is constantly teaching me is to create a story behind each drawing. i have a much harder time creatively drawing than i do technically drawing so it always feels like stretching a muscle to be talked through the story process in four different ways. great episode

I really love seeing them draw some thick characters. Seeing the representation of different body types you all draw helps me combat a lot of the negatives feelings I have towards my body. When I see these rad, cool, and beautiful characters, it reinforces that the number on the scale does not dictate your worth. Does that make any sense? Anyway, have a great day everyone

Sometimes I'd look at a character's relationship and think "how could you be with them they're obviously very evil" but looking at Nathan's character I get it now. Because when he said she's either a villain or at least an anti hero without missing a beat my mind went "I don't care at all buddy"

I always love it when each of the end results can hang out in a room together, and no one would guess they're actually all supposed to be the same person.

It was really cool to see how Reb pushed and pulled and generally manipulated the work in a solely digital way that i don't see the drawfee cast do as much! I loved nathans strong woman and rebs main character energy and pose and Jacobs thick girl made my heart happy. All that said, Katrina's filled all my fangirl desires 😂

suggestion: disney characters as d&d pcs, as inspired by abd illustrates! take a character, give them a background, race, and class, and draw em! maybe make it a speed draw?

Eppy suggestion: four artists, one art. First person does sketching, second person inks, third person does colors, fourth does lighting/final render... or however you want to divy it up.
