I went 2 weeks back to this place and I should have watched your video before my trip to avoid the dangerous route as you did. This vlog will be very useful to plan for four falls. Thanks
I went tuesday morning walked to the waterfalls in the dark for 50min to the one you walk behind.. spent 3 to 4 hours here and saw no one at all for the whole trip. 😁
i did this walk last year. but i did it from pontneddfechan up the valley ( lovely )....then the 4 falls ( beautiful ) then out to the road as you did then down the road ( yucky bit )....back to pontneddfechan... as you say lots and lots of people ....... love the vidio good advice about footware and dogs...... love you
The waterfall that you can walk behind, is that the one they used for filming Batman? If so I've been there (last year) and it was pretty busy then too. The hill back to the car park was a killer lol! But it was awesome place! Plus there were loads of wild mushrooms
Hi, great video! looking to go and walk this trail myself and wondered if there is parking near by and also any recommendations for staying as we are travelling from london thanks
Hey there - I can definitely recommend it. There are a few parking options - Gwaun Hepste is a pay and display car park, managed by Brecon Beacons National Park Authority and everything is well signposted from there. There are heaps of places nearby to stay in Brecon but of course you have Cardiff and Swansea not too far away by car if you want a night in the city : )
Those mutts should be on their leads, when I’m out with my 3 young children dogs running wild are a real menace. You admitted his recall is terrible, your words, keep them tethered.
Emmpire 92 Thanks, sorry if I came across rude, it’s a real thing for me we don’t go to our local beach outside restriction times anymore. We have a dog so my kids are conditioned to them, but are still scared when one or more large dogs come bounding at them. Last week I had to rescue a woman, she had a Jack Russell on a lead and a girl maybe 2 or 3 when two large dogs ran at her after the dog, I had to run across and scoop up the little girl as she battled to keep her dog away from the others. As I shouted at the owner she plodded across slowly to get them not a care in the world 😪😡🤬
@@cerealkiller4248 it's understandable! I'm glad my attention was brought to it. I know my dog won't harm a fly but I didn't think about how other people would perceive that so I try to be more considerate now 😊
Arrrgh, too many people !!! Can't believehow well managed the path to Sgwd yr Eira is these days - it used to be nothing but a small track and the occasional rail to hold on - I missed it on my last visit as we run out of time . It's a great day out but very tiring & I was thinking the dogs might have struggled and yup hiking boots with a good grip is a lot better. Good idea to plan a little better, then it wouldn't be such an adventure though. Not sure if you have tried Swgwd Eionon Gam but think that would be right up your trust reckon - without the dogs though as its a bit sketchy. Hsve a look at one of the visits I made to see if its your cuppa tea? ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-6TvjBn_WGh0.html atb Al
Yeah I like to wing it most of the time! As you can probably tell haha. Thanks so much for this recommendation though! As soon as we're able I'll be around the country again I hope!
