Your paintings are truly amazing. I watch you every day I wish I could get some of the products that you use. I get lost in your process. You are a true inspiration to me. Thankyou 🎉
Thanks for sharing your process! It’s reassuring that even with all your experience things don’t always evolve as expected. Also nice to see some of the ways you adjust to “save” a painting. ❤
So beautiful, you're phenomenal, I love your designs. Yourself and a few others keep me hypnotized. You all seem to relax the storms that seem to flood my days. Thank you so very much. Hopefully, soon, I'll be able to participate in one of your classes. Who would have known that painting creating could help ease depression 🎉🎉🎉❤
What a joy to watch the creative process unfold... and what a relief to know I'm in great company when I have to keep practicing to get the look I had imagined. Thank you for sharing your kindness, humility and extraordinary creativity!
Hi Sara, this video is a real joy watching the process and the transformations on each canvas and listening to your comments. This last painting was simply magical in its beauty. The colors all so vibrant and balanced and graceful movements. This painting felt like how music sounds and how colors and lines blend and undulate in and around the different mediums. The golden cells or pearls were like the breath of the painting. The indian yellow color beside the gold is stunning. Your painting just dances with delight. This painting evokes an emotion and feeling in the overall effect. You created another super favorite work of art and it's absolutely gorgeous and is so identifiable as a Sara Taylor painting in all its nuance and beauty.💙💛💙 GORGEOUS!
Love watching your processes and hearing your thoughts! This video was perfect timing after our first private zoom class together. And I can't wait to try the TriArt colors! Thank you!
Oh wow Sara ❤ all 5 of your paintings are beautiful. I love your Pearl technique above and beyond any other fluid art technique out there. The final painting is jaw droppingly gorgeous, I’m sure the large piece is going to be amazing Sara, I can’t wait to see it. Love and light always. ❤❤❤
Wow! At first, I didn't really like some of them either, but as they developed with the touch ups you did on them, they all turned out beautiful! Pearl pours make me so nervous, but you make them look fun😊❤
Sara, I thought of the word "perseverance" for the video in your quest to find the right "everything" for the painting you were about to take on 😊 your stamina, and forge ahead attitude, comes out most in this challenge. You are very informative, and vocal and I for one am so glad to watch and learn from you, and your artistic talents. I am waiting with wonder and anticipation, to see the "big one" you are working to create! Thanks for sharing, I appreciate the learning process 🤗☺❤Have a great day!! (one of my favorite colors "Paynes Gray" to me always adds to any colors)
Just hearing you explain how it does not always work really helps. You have great skill and I appreciate you very much. I just don’t have the money right now but when I do I will surely join your patrons. Thank you for openly sharing all
Wowza! Thanks for sharing your process! Loved how that spray painted interacted with the paints. And that 4th one was awesome! The interference gold really added a beautiful depth.
My dear, what words can I use that I have not spoken already? Your work always astounds me. I fell in love with the 2nd painting. From the 8.0 mark, right when the cells started forming, it was WOW! Look at that composition! I was one that was somewhat thankful the gold paint was misbehaving! Your work just floors me! In a good way!
What a great video, Sara! I kept saying to myself, "Oh, that one looks like this painting I've done." It great to hear your process. One to hear all your tips and thoughts, but two to know I'm not crazy when I don't like what's happening on my canvas😋. All of your paintings were beautiful and unique in their own way. I'm sure they will find homes soon.😊🌞🌞🌞🌞🌞
Totally love your paintings....it's like, if I could say, painting with God, in that the paint does its own thing without you doing too much to it...and btw...it's time for a 4K camera...your work deserves the detail viewing!
Oh My Goodness! They are all amazing… can’t wait to see your final big piece. 😍 I would love if you could teach us how you clean your final paintings when you use oil. I have never been successful at it, never liked what happened when it came to cleaning my paintings out, total mess….
Thank you! Will do! To give a brief explanation, I usually just use some water down dish soap and a soft cloth to remove the excess oil. Always avoid resin if I use oil, using dish soap it gets a clean enough for a nice coat of varnish.👍
They are all cool. But I agree, that last one is off the chart super cool. I was kind of a dud Fudd last week for some reason but I'm figuring some stuff out this week.
Good day to you Sara! Your work is beautiful. I love your demeanor your presence and your work. I was wondering what kind of oil you are putting down. I looked in your details but I couldn't quite pin down the oil. Thank you, much love back to you! I'm here in Utah, your sister state. I wouldn't say I'm a new artisan, but I'm very new to the paint pouring - liquid art forms. It's been definitely trial and error but I am learning to embrace it and enjoy the processes. 🎉 With ❤, Sherry
PS I love that you use the jars for your paint. I'm always looking for ways to be in recycle mode or have less impact on our environment 🩵🩷🩵 🌏🌎🌍 You have me a great idea for using the paints.
High flow is a type of paint that golden sells, it’s basically the most ink like and highly pigmented. It behaves differently than their other acrylics, very unique!
Also which white do you use not for the base but under the gold and yellow. You r an amazing artist. I have learned so much. I wish we lived in the same state so I can arrange a lesson with you.
It's a little bit tricky, in this case, I actually use the leftover paint that I had from the previous paintings in the series, I doctored them up with a bit of yellow and white. Sometimes these really earthy colors come out of the jar as leftovers😂
What is interference gold and which company r u using? I love the yellow as well. Can you. Write which one it is? I love those paintings very much and would love to try it as well. Thanks Sara
All lovely! On the first one at minute 10:45 after adding the high fluid paint and oil drops the composition lost a dynamic contrast of “quiet vs busy pearling” that gave the eye a place to rest IMO; but still certainly works! Txz Jeanne
I completely agree with you! That was probably my least favorite of the four. I was just just kind of goofing around at that point… Lol. Thanks for your feedback, I really appreciate the honesty.💕
It’s an effect achieved by using a very thin basecoat with satin enamel in it. I have a really great paint Mixing video that might help answer some questions. Pearl base coat recipe; ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-umBApA5JFCU.html This video is great because it shows how a lot of the effects appear in real time and I talked through it. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-gn6qv3vGXuk.html
I watched your video on the new pearl recipe but would like to know if you have a video on how to mix all of the products? Also you mentioned that Artist Loft may go back to the original Flow white paint, any word if they did or not? Thank you for all you do!!
As far as I know, they never did go back to the original recipe. I’m actually going to be moving away from our loft soon, I found a new paint that I like much better!
I’m sorry to keep bothering you Sara, but I don’t know which recipe is which. Are the pearl recipes for the base coat colours, and the bloom recipe for the puddle paints? Or vice versa?
That's very rude. Not all of us who appreciate looking and listening to the process think so personally enjoy her talking through what she is doing. It is all about informing the learning.
