Four Horsemen Studios Mythic Legions ARETHYR & AETHON (DEMON HORSE) Action Figure Review 

I'm a Portuguese action figure collector, Mythic Legions is one of those hard to get in Europe lines that has to be imported, which implies paying extra for import taxes. Since I first saw it on kickstarter I've been resisting the urge to collect it since I already collect loads of lines from loads of companies and as I already said they are hard to get in EU. The first time I saw this action figure and it's horse I forgot about all those considerations and instantly preordered them. I've been eagerly waiting for their release since then and I'm still trying to fight the urge to by all the other characters with every ounce of strength I have. Thanks for the nice review Toy Bro.

I gave a bunch of thought to making lore for the four horsemens lines and offered my ideas which weren't used since they've moved on from the older figures. Hopefully they revisit!

Excellent review. These guys look like they rode straight off of a metal album cover. The orange does them a bit of disservice, on cooler colored backgrounds they really pop. Whether you like the fantasy genre or not you have to appreciate what the Horsemen have done, worth the long wait.

Tied for figure of the year for me so far with mezco Baron Bends tectonic disruptor edition.

IMHO, you better change the background with white ones. It will be clearer for us to see the figure.

IMO belphegorr looks more intimidating , something about him very unique figure and an amazing headsculpt, dont get me wrong arethya is awesome wicked looking figure as well

This gives me an idea, they really should to keep making a bunch of cool mounts that just so happen to fit Motu classics. There used to be toys like that from other companies back when original Motu were the biggest thing.

I think the reason why Aerythr looks like that is to show how he and the other dark God's are related. Like Illythia and Arythr both have the same type of ears and both have bat like features. But the other two siblings Poxxus and Necronominus both look somewhat skeletal from their shadows on the box art. Poxxus kinda looks like he has a beard but it'd hard to tell. It will be interesting seeing them all together

I missed this but I found 5 I pre’d. Awesome sculpts. Four horsemen definitely have a. New motu/lord of the rig vibe with these. Perfect for Conan, motu, thundercats & any fan into skeletons. But pricey. Starts @ $39 & go up. My 5 were $49 each 😳... I’m hoping it’s super 7s ultimates level.

My only complaint is about the horses mane and tail. I wish that they were made of transparent plastic like the fire on Arethyr's head.

Nice review. These figures are amazing! Question, have you considered changing the color of your background in your reviews? The orange takes away from the figures. Just an opinion and not knocking.

Jared, I can not wait for my pair. I did not go All-in but I did go back and make a second order. Definitely a wave that shows the Horsemen's studios can go up against anyone and represent. I saw what you did with the outro pics(the walk);) this is the first of the many reviews that I will savor. Its been a long wait and it will be worth it as you have eloquently shown.

The horse kind of reminds me of Red Hare from Dynasty Warriors.

I don't know why, but i thought that he was going to be larger (Shadow Equaddron size), still amazing figure.

This is the first Aethon review. I hope you measured the height with a ruler. I am hoping this would be in the same size with the McFarlane Headless Horseman deluxe horse or the Spawn horses. I ordered 5x total Mythic Legion horses to add to my 6x McFarlane horses. My Toybiz Lord of the Rings horses are smaller, I don't want ML horses to be the same size as the LOTR ones.

He looks way way way better without the ugly face armor on. What a head sculpt. Why would they ever cover that up with such an ugly eye ornament? Such a odd creative decision

Too much orange. Not very aesthetically pleasing and makes it kinda hard to see fig 😵‍💫
