This video consists of footage from four sessions over the weekend of 8/20-8/21/2023. The first is post-collegiate 400m hurdler Tevin Colson, the second is high school junior Ashley Maier, the third is high school junior DeShawn Austin, and the fourth is high school freshman Skye Wilson. In all the workouts, because the temps were in the 90’s, I started with the faster, more strenuous part of the workout before settling into drills afterward. I usually prefer to drill first to establish a foundation, and then speed things up. But in extreme heat there’s not much choice but to flip the script. I just started with all of these athletes within the past month - not by design; it just happened that way. I’m eager to facilitate their progress and will be posting videos of them to show their development.
