My mom knew Gary Ridgeway, in a very loose sense. She worked at a gas station at the time. He would come in and buy something and leave and wasn’t overtly weird or anything, but the older Asian lady who ran the place swore up and down that there was something super wrong with the guy. She would even stay late in the evenings because she didn’t want my mom to be alone whenever he came in. My mom didn’t understand why her boss was so freaked out by this super normal and generic white guy. He was not weird in the slightest. She eventually ended up recognizing him on the news.
I do believe that we all have a sixth sense. Many of us ignore it or explain it away. The Asian store owner just trusted her intuition without question. Many years ago I watched a program that presented a detective that had worked with victims of violent crimes or attacks. He said after interviewing the women that most of them “had a feeling” but ignored it. Long story short. Trust those intuitions even if you don’t understand. It can save your life or in this case the life of another.
@@biblio_nosleep That's because most people don't pay attention to much because he didn't have to behave 'overly weird' or anything to be 'off.' Also may have been possibly because he was wh*te 🙂
There is definitely something to having a gut feeling. We pick up on things subconsciously, and that's communicated through the vagus nerve, which travels through our gut.
"Oy, mate, that Bruce Lee kid sure did burn down a lot of buildings." "Yeah, I'm starting to think we suck at our jobs." British Arson investigators, probably
@@jomorken4853 it is though. the definition of volunteering is legit giving your effort and time to a cause usually without payment. If you are pressuring people to volunteer you tick all three boxes: Effort✅ Time✅ To a cause✅(even if not directly)
I've seen it happen twice, not near me or in person but on videos. One was in a canal if I remember correctly and the other one was in trash I believe. But that's 2 out of the 1000s of videos I've watched about this type of stuff
Harrison "Marty" Graham aka "The Cookie Monster Killer" had an IQ around 70. He was called that because he had a plushie of Cookie Monster from Sesame Street that he loved. He was active in Philadelphia during the 1980s.
Gary Ridgeway took a AGCT or NGCT IQ test when he was in the military. His Stanford-Binet IQ (the test usually referenced) score would equate to 90 - 95 points (low average). He was also had dyslexia and I'm curious if that was known by the military during his testing. I don't state this as some twisted defense of ridgeway, just as points to factor in when asking themselves "than how did he get away with so many murders ?". He's was (possibly) the most prolific serial killer known until the capture of Samuel Little. I often question if he possibly purposely scored lower to stay under the radar in order to keep attention away from himself or simply because he was lazy and didn't want to advance in the Navy.
@@joanbaczek2575 there was also a time where high IQs (on adjusted tests) were a requirement for dyslexia. People with dyslexia tend to be on the more intelligent side due to the brain having to create different neural pathways to understand language. The new pathways usually leads to a cleverness not typically expected. I write a paper on it when i realized i definitely had it. It’s actually really interesting to look into. The basics of language tend to rest in different parts of the brain, for me spelling doesn’t feel like a function of language, but a function of memory. Speaking English and spelling/reading English feel like different languages. It may be due to the fact that the typical pathways didn’t form right, so I think my brain redirected reading and writing to memory instead of language. Sorry you tapped into a hyper fixation I had for like 2 months 😭😭
Until the 80s boy & Girl Scouts did many things out in the communities. Cleaned up the church parking lot & graveyard after a long winter. Took dogs walking in groups to the yearly vet check ups and rabies shots for senior citizens. Any tip were saved for camping trips. When a child was lost boyscouts over 12 were allowed to join the firemen & police & service men everyone was allowed to search but the scouts had some training & went in groups with leaders in our town. Mid 70s the satanic panic & other fears ,left many parents to not send their kids to group activities that they didn’t stay at them selves scouts died down in our town in the last 30 years. I don’t even think they have them anymore.
“This house burned down! Looks like it’s due to that stabbed man lighting matches while covered in gasoline!” “Dang it Dale, looks like that man should have been more careful with matches. Oh look another house is on fire. Probably an accident. Only a baby was home? That baby has GOT to learn not to mess with candles”
Re: Anne Kinnemore, there was NO “non consensual sex”, there was a rape perpetrated on the victim by a rapist. Gaslighting sexual assault is victim blaming.
Why do folks til this day leave windows/doors etc open. Cause they're under the facade we live n a safe neighborhood. Smh to me gated, inner city, the burbs & rural communities. U can't leave nothing to chance. Crime happens 24/7 regardless!
@@lorinrichardson817 unless you have 2 GSDs and weapons in the home. The dogs alert and stall. No need for fear in my home regardless of locked or u locked doors. And yes they are proven one had successfully thwarted a burglar.
I leave mine open 24/7 , back door is always open. Live in sydney Australia. My front window is missing. But I do have a 80kg Rottweiler and a very sharp meat cleaver. 😉
These stories make me stress the importance of owning a dog. Even a tiny yappy dog will alert you far earlier to danger than your human senses. A large one will alert you and take out the threat. Worth every penny spent on dog food and training.
Absolutely. I have a treeing walker coin hound, they're bred to take down bears and mountain lions. He's absolutely ruthless and determined, he would maul someone if they tried to come into my house and he would kill them if someone tried to hurt me. He's my best buddy. His name is Rusty ❤
Hey, Mark. I imagine many times you have answered this, how do you decide whos life to document? Im always so grateful that you bring me these people to love, if loving and praying is the only thing im able to do. Im probably closer to becoming like them than becoming able to help
The only reason why alot of serial killers became prolific was because the technology wasnt there yet. Thats it nonother reason they werent smart about covering their tracks
new to this channel, 1st impression is you have a really soothing voice 👀 you should do guided meditations or something, I’d be out like a light in 10 secs lol
I often wonder if Lucas &/or Toole committed any murders in front of Toole’s Niece Freda “Becky” Powell, or his nephew Frank Powell? Does anyone know what became of Toole’s Nephew Frank? Is he still alive?
Not sure how accurate this info is, but this is all I could find on a thread: Both Frank and Frieda lived with Toole. Frank was not murdered but checked into a mental hospital after Lucas and Toole had been arrested.
All these families feeling like they had caused these fires when it fact it was arson all along. It's heartbreaking for these families 😢. I can't believe this fire investigator was so inept. Someone should have picked up on this sooner. Multiple fires plus Multiple deaths do not equal accidents. Was somebody hanging out at the pub too much or what
This is is the video I never knew I needed. Dumbest serial killers 😂 you always here about how high iq the infamous serial killers were, but this is the first one I have heard that focuses on low iq serial killers
yeah he’s just monotone which is normal considering what he’s covering, if u wanna watch someone sick who gets giddy/happy about stuff like this then watch plague moth.
Henry Lee Lucas isn’t considered a serial killer. A serial liar yes but you have to kill three or more people with a cooling down period. Lucas murdered his mother in 1960 and then two others in 1983.
Lucas and Toole were such pathetic losers, they were willing to admit to hundreds of murders, just to be someone. The police saw an opportunity to clear all their cold cases, without doing the work. They all gave details or left the files out in front of Lucas and Toole. Although the two had low I.Q’s, Lucas had a knack for noticing the little details in the report and remembering them. I have no doubt they killed. They were true women haters and had tempers. But, I doubt very much that they killed so many. I give Toole the two that could be proven. Lucas maybe had a couple of his own. I wouldn’t put either past that. They were not charming like Bundy, nor were they well renowned businessmen like Gacy. They were scruffy losers and they looked every bit the part. I can’t see people wanting to be around them all that much, especially women.
If what you state that "the average African American have low iQ's is true (I totally disagree and I'm white) BUT ANYWAYS.. You say they have low IQ's then explain why 90% of serial killers /mass shooters/school shooters are NON African American (blacks)???? Bundy, gacy, Kemper, Ridgeway, ed gein, birdella, Manson, son of Sam, Dahmer, Leonard lake, BTK, ECT ECT and also the zodiac killer , Jack the ripper haven't been identified but their pretty damn certain it was a white man . so i disagree !
