I don't think she is - she's only singing the one song, she's not holding the notes for long and doesn't sound "pitch perfect", but there has been gossip that she might be syncing bits and pieces on the Xmas tour, especially this song because she's doing it towards the end of a 2 hour show, holding notes for longer than she does here, and hits an even higher note at the end. She's pushing a "no video" policy at her shows so finding video's going to be tough.

She’s amazing. I’ve watched Hymn concert and she was 57 years old then 2018 March and she’s sung so beautifully. Nothing can stop the angel of music.

Yup. Colm was actually Ramin's Phantom and his inspiration to join theater. He told him that they will one day perform together in a stage which happened here.

Imagine performing with the idol that inspired you to perform. Ramin and Colm are a dynamic duo. They are also amazing in Les Misérables.

@@viktorcheng2061 Colm Wilkinson has always been my favorite Jean Valjean from Les Mis. I first saw him with the 10th Anniversary Concert Special, and he amazed me. I didn't realize until much later that he had also played the Phantom. These are my two favorite musicals.

Agreed...!!! Perhaps THE BEST musical since Jesus Christ Superstar. I too was fortunate enough to see Crawford and Brightman when they came to NY. However, i must say that Ramin Karminloo and Sierra Boggess were FANTASTIC in their roles at the Royal Albert Hall performance.

I'm so glad I'm not the only one who teared up at that!!

Especially when he sang "You alone can make my song take flight."

It's 2024 now and yes, still watching. I've seen Phantom 2-3 times in Atlanta, GA, once in Jacksonville, FL, and once in London. Wish I could remember who was singing the Phantom when we were in London. I probably still have the playbill saved somewhere. My favorite musical ever!

If Michael wasn’t performing for Wizard of Oz that night, I’m fairly certain he would’ve sang with them.

@@TooCooFoYou Oh, that would have been icing on the cake to hear the original Phantom, Michael Crawford, sing to Sarah, the original Christine. But it was such a treat to see him at this incredible performance with all the other Phantoms.

Sadly he is did not dressed up as The Phantom for it!

He got asked last minute to sing and Michael is a purist and prefers practice so he politely declined.

He has to rest his voice because he was hot footed as Andrew put from the play he was in.

michael was in another musical when this was filmed, so he had to be on vocal rest.

John Owen jones has the best vocal abilities of all the phantoms

He is one of the Phantoms best known for his haunting voice, he really hits those high notes with his angelic tone.

That note sold it for me! You can really see how Christine became so spellbound by the Phantom's voice.

he has a beautiful voice but he lacks a little bit the aggressiveness and madness from Ramin and the haunting voice of Michael.

John's final lair scene beats Ramin's by a long shot!...people automatically choose Ramin or Michael because they're easily assessable and well known..oh and cause Ramin's meant to be a " hot " phantom blah blah... Anthony Warlow and John Owen Jones are the true king's of the role!.

THAT is like hitting the lottery jackpot of Broadway musicals. This is one of the few times I really get jealous of people being able to watch celebrities I wanted to see but did not. Lucky for you!

I'm not a fan of her Christine, but her singing in this version always gives me chills!

She isn't 107. I am a soprano, whose age we won't mention, I still have voice and breath control. No one mentioned the men, tenors I believe, holding notes and controlling their voices.... oh yes, they didn't.

I honestly think it's stupid to compare phantoms because each of them do the best they can to bring something new to the role, i mean, look at norm lewis's phantom and then look at hugh panaro's one, they are both extremely different, norm made him a more childish and tortured character while hugh made him feel more grounded and human
