My shrimp tanks running 4 yrs no reset, top off only(except when filling bags for shrimp sale) heavy plants, HOB w/ pre-filter. I sell 200 shrimp a week and the only dead one I found was from me accidently smooshing him. Free food for the rest.🦐🦐🦐
It depends what type of soil you are using. Some Brand will buffer stronger for about 3 months then it starts to lose its capacity. In my experience thin layer method with ADA amazonia 1 it will buffer at 6.0
