Hello Nicole, I was looking how to harvest spinach which I planted on a pot but I did not know how to harvest or what to do as I noticed it was getting taller! Wow! Your instruction really taught me that my plant is bolting! Amazing video! I am watching you from Simcoe Ontario Canada. Thank you. I am your new subscriber.
Thank you so much. You have been most informative out of the ones videos. I have watched. I understand now that my spinach has bolted. Better luck next time.😊
I should do a post on that! Let your plant bolt completely and then catch the seeds in a paper bag. As long as it’s not a hybrid, its seeds will be true and will regrow the same kind of spinach. Seeds can last a couple years if stored in a dark, dry, and cool place.
So can you not plant spinach in summer? Is that too hot? I’m USDA zone 3, so a very cold winter… should you plant spinach when the ground is barely thawed? I heard that’s good for lettuce greens
