One day only this will survive as a remnant of Four Tet's endless livestream loop. I discovered it in February 2021, now it is May 2021. I still drop in on that loop a few times per month, mostly to read the commentary of those who have just stumbled upon it and to enjoy the flow. Great background music while I am remote-working online due to the Covid lockdown or when I just wanna chill out after smoking a joint
This is associated with memories burned in my mind. End of 2020, covid mania raging, crypto mania just getting started, just got back to my little town in Georgia from Tulum, sitting in the backyard, drinking cocoa/coffee mix, with the winter breeze and winter sun on my skin. It was a weird but kind of exciting time. Incredible how a track like this can transport you back there
I love this. It’s my 1 hour and 12 minute Pomodoro (I realize those are supposed to be 25 min, but if you’re the ADHD-hyperfocus type, then this length works too. Works for me, at least).
I remember listenening to Four Tet for like a few months straight and out of curiosity I went to his youtube channel to find this going on for a few months. I would go to this stream and chill and do my usual hobbies for hours on end, even more ironic is I'd always wondered if I would stumble upon this beautiful track again.
Really like Fourtet. First time I ever heard his music was on radio six music a couple of years ago and liked it instantly. Been a fan ever since . This is really nice 😊
prime?! He's moved into annoyingly simplistic minimalism; such a depressing and strange change from his beautiful jazzy organic style of 2000-era.I love minimal tech etc but my god, every song I hear of Keiran's is the same nowadays. This is one of very, very, very few tracks that sound anything like he used to have the talent for. Like Aphex,m he's (nowhere near as bad) but become a knob twiddler in the more boring ways. It's a shame. I still love the music he produces but my god he was a genius before. Now he's a really good producer i guess.
