4:33 the cross bars that maintain the upward and downward movement restricts the play when the towing vehicle goes into higher mound than the trailer. Yours will have no problem on plain and even fields, but will stress the cross bars on hilly grounds. I am trying to figure out how to solve this.
Sorry but I don't have a reverse vid. To do it it's the opposite of a conventional fixed axle trailer. So if you want the trailer to turn left to get it started you turn the vehicle wheels left. Once it has started to turn then you compensate and adjust as you would with a conventional trailer remembering to do the opposite. It does take some getting used to.
How does it back up? Do you turn steering wheel the same way you want the back of the trailer to go? Please me me know ☺. Like to build a 40foot camper house on a Chevy 3/4ton frame. Thanks
Reversing is ok with a little practice. As you say to get started you turn the steering the same way that you want to go. Once your started then opposite lock and keep tractor and trailer in an arc.
