Found these guys w Brain Pain and love the whole album. Thought it's cool would blow up but never got traction. Their whole back catalog is great too. Love these guys and was hoping they'd blow up bcuz they deserve it. Keep up the stellar work. U 2 are the best
It's Cool is an incredible song and a perfect album opener. I got to see them play it live for the very first time, I was right up front in front of Dan just absolutely losing it lol. Getting into them with Brain Pain must have been such a cool experience. I've been jamming them since 2007.
Love these guys! I firer discovered them on the Go down in History EP and became a fan pretty quickly. Pleased they're back with more. Brain Pain was great and I hope their next album is as well.
It did, unfortunately. There's a couple good tracks on it, but for some reason they set out to make an album that wasn't a Four Year Strong album, and it definitely didn't do them any favors.
Thanks for reviewing some FYS! They've been my favorite band for 16 years. I agree that their third album killed their trajectory but I don't think people really even gave it a chance. It's one of my favorites!
They're one of my favorite bands, top 1-2 depending on the day, week, month, year, and In Some Way is. . .fine. I wish they put something else out, then maybe The Story So Far would be opening for them instead, but it is what it is
Having been a fan from the beginning I would say my top 3 are: 1 enemy of the world 2 brain pain 3 in some way shape or form (which felt like foo fighters on steroids)
I love these guys. A lot of people stopped listening after the 3rd album (which wasn't that bad, tbh), which I think was a mistake. Their next album was a return to form, and their new stuff is great.
Love the song. The only thing that gets me is that it sounds like the drum sample library changes on the chorus. The drums sound great during the verses but sound too fake in the chorus. It loses its punch.
so crazy cause they put out enemy of the world and I was totally on board with this band, and Then they put out "in some way shape or form" with one less member and it was not as good, but I was still a rooting for them. and then they might have put out one more worse album before the "going down in history ep", which i thought was brilliant, they figured out how to do it without that band member, then it turned out that was a fluke cause it was right back to that same dull sound. and i bought the two albums after that EP. on the next full legnth they ever watered down a song that was the same ep. they could be the biggest band in pop punk/easycore if they just stuck with the enemy of the world sound.
