The Fourth Element Hydra Drysuit is a tough compressed neoprene drysuit with a sleek style. Warm and tough, the Hydra is made from 7mm of neoprene that is compressed down to 4mm. The outer lining of the hydra is a mixture of abrasion-resistant Supratex and Durawear print in key areas to keep the suit from wear. Each seam is fused, blindstitched, taped and glued on the outside which is four layers of protection on the seams.
Who's The Hydra For?
The Hydra Drysuit is a warm and tough neoprene drysuit for heavy-duty diving in cold water. The thick neoprene is warm in itself so you don't need as much insulation underneath. Neoprene drysuits are thicker and hardwearing compared to membrane drysuits.

The lack of proper knee patches seems like it would be a major week spot especially if your doing any shore diving.

#askmark For the hydra drysuit bag, I’m looking at purchasing this to store/carry my drysuit. Is the zip on the bag waterproof so it won’t leak? Also do you think this would fit an Apeks KVR drysuit? Thanks!

I have no interest in, or desire to, purchase a drysuit. But his claim, thorough, almost mesmerising, review sucked me in!

This is a long talk. About small little gadgets added to a suit. Will be more useful to explain the sem construction. It is a drysuit. That seam tape inside is not really impressive. No knee pads. Minimum protection of your knees. I really consider the strength of a drysuit it's not on the little gimmicks.
