Damn that's a crazy machine lol. I was missing a rear fender and ended up getting my heel caught and got dragged under the quad.. ripped my stomach open in 3 , 3" long gashes.. had to ride home almost 2 hours gushing blood. Shit was crazy!

We did that all the time. We all have scars on our arms from "smiley faces" from a BIC lighter. You heat up the metal end of the lighter and stan your friend in the arm with it. If you react, you get punched in the face. We were metal back in the day..

The stick wasn't the reason why the spike fell off, it was because your welder's voltage was too low, not allowing for the two pieces of metal to fuse the best. The weld that was used acted more like wood glue and less like making the piece and the rim become one.
100% agree with you. I wonder if the welders getting enough juice from his shady extension cord. I can only imagine what kind of damage one of those spikes could do to someone if they fly off the rim.

Everytime they pull a spike out of the ground, i cringe at the idea that just what if one the spikes decide to break off while the wheel is turning at full speed and just get shot in a direction? Thats a scary thought😭

I made a bike with some friends out of rims only a s a kid, we called it Sparkie because at night sparks would fly from the rims. It was loud, the neighbours probably hated us, it slide all over the road and handed the worst... and I loved it.
