When I went through domestic violence counseling, court ordered by DCF, I was told by them, that if I let him back into my home, they would take my daughter. That's how this should be handled.

Most of these cases are because the kids are not loved, betrayed from their parents and there is not much that society is helping to protect them from all this evil in the world. The news outlets reported that she was sleep in bed with her new boyfriend and her two daughters in the same room? Why keep your windows unlocked, anything could’ve happened to her daughters too. It’s a sad situation. I think the murderer knew she had that man in her house, but he still didn’t have a reason to kill Carlos. 😢

I’m not blaming the mother here because I feel like if there is a domestic violence incident, the man ( or woman but very rare) should be charged and given at the least 18 years in prison with no parole. Most women who are being physically and mentally abused are functioning with PTSD undiagnosed.

When my child was coming up in the younger years- I was single for 12 years I trusted no man around my little girl- my child’s well-being and safety was top tier priority number one and from my experience with domestic violence when I was single without kids was enough for me- as women you really have to consider in life- is this man violent? has he screamed or hit you? those are some of the things as a mother you have to look at- we have so many insecure and abusive men that will kill your children and you- he killed her son which was not biologically his- because that was her first and he was the little man of her life and he knew that would be the ultimate way to crush her spirit, so disgusting a pure coward and demon, sending condolences to the family and may her little son precious spirit rest in peace ❤️🕊️🕊️🕊️🕊️❤️🕊️

The mother doesn’t come across sad or authentically grieving. This is just trifling, reckless. I hope his poor didn’t suffer. I am deeply disappointed that this young man didn’t get the opportunity to grow up. If the murderer should have killed himself, instead of the young man. I grew in a similar situation, and I was about three years when I started jumping in my grandmother’s fights with her boyfriend. I started jumping in mom’s fights with her husband around 8 or 9 years old. I am blessed beyond measure, that I wasn’t injured or killed.
