In this video I show the basic operating principles of external bypass shocks My car is a mid engine twincharged Cummins diesel powered ultra 4 car. The rear has 19” of travel with a 3.5x14” external bypass shock and a 2.5x12” dual rate coilover, with 400/350lb springs. The front has 16” of travel with a 2.5x16” external bypass shock and a 2.5x16” dual rate coilover, with 200/175lb springs.
