Description
Fox fork adjustment so you can clamp the wheel with the thru axle lever at the angle of your choosing. Personally I like the lever to point towards the back of the bike.
It's a very simple set up. Thru axle = long bolt and adjuster ring = nut for long bolt. If you wanted to have a bolt tighten sooner you would do up the nut, tighten later, undo the bolt.

I need to do this on my new fox 38s but cant say ive noticed this type of adjustment its just an allen key and round bolt in the fork

It's a great explanation, however I did try switching the numbered tightness clockwise/counterclockwise and it didn't make a difference to the orientation. What am I missing or doing wrong? Thanks

I'm not too sure. If there is no difference from 1 to 18 then there isn't much you can do unless you change the thru axle to one that allows for adjustment of the lever end.

@@Chambers36TheEnter But it seems I have the same fork: Fox 36 Factory. And I have the same Nut setup with the imprinted 1-18 numbers and screwed in plate. Doesn't make sense that I can't change the orientation. I been riding it with the lever up for years and want to change it to point toward the rear as you are for safety precautions. I've never had issues though. I will play with it some more to see if there is something I'm missing apart from my mind!...LOL Thanks Update: I figured it out. The nut had to catch with the axle and then I set it to 6. I had to fiddle with it a bit so the lever clears the fork, but I got the lever so it points toward the rear and is level with the ground.
