My mother thought she was protecting me when lied my whole life about my father and I had no reason to not believe it, it was hard to understand why my grandparents were denying my mother's story. I can see how and why people watch newsmax and foxnews and have a strong bias to their lies. A lot of these people comes from homes where these 'news' outlets are on 24/7, if they were told the earth is flat.. you bet they believe it and these puppeteers knows it.

I remember when I first visited the US, I was in a hotel having breakfast one morning and Fox News just happened to be on the TV. At that time I knew nothing about the political landscape of America, or which way Fox leaned. After about 5 minutes of casually watching I thought to myself, this is the most braindead news channel I have ever watched. I was genuinely shocked at how bad it was and how much of what they said was provable lies. I changed the channel.
