Always great to see foxes traveling open ground, the second one leaves the path and leaps as he runs then turns to watch (unseen) the dogs go hopelessly wrong before disappearing....
Andrew, I’ve watched probably all your videos now! I didn’t realise we had rabbits in those numbers in west Wales! Not where I am anyway 😞 great videos mate 👍
Andrew, yeah that’s the one. Unbelievable numbers. I used to do a fair bit in those areas (if it’s where I think it is) and have good nights lamping. But by me now, it’s rare too see numbers of rabbits. Although I haven’t really been a rabbiting man it’s nice too sharpen the lurchers up on them sometimes 👍
@@counterstrike89 The strange thing is that the dogs seem generally to sometimes hunt at a faster speed than they actually need to run when their behind them.
@@andrewedwards67 That's interesting, I wonder why that is, perhaps they're a bit flummoxed by the swift movements and turns when they get up closer behind the fox. I noticed the dogs too seem to cover ground better with their longer strides.
