Brilliant, from what I gathered, this is the only video that has revealed the back plate with the strap setup. Other reviews overlooked this. Great work!
I currently have the older model of this jacket. I have a couple questions, how does the new model compare for heat management, do you think it vents much better, or is it about the same? Also the older model feels like sandpaper on my skin, I have to wear an under layer with it. Is the new model any better, or would you still recommend an under layer be worn with it?
I think this is a downgrade from the old model. The tricep used to be completely covered. Now they have the two overlapping pads and a large gap below them. This is where I make contact with the ground the most when I low sided and always had full arm protection and now a rock can get your arm where the new gap is.
