Good job! Intake pop is a sign of lean - you probably found that out by now. A couple hundred miles and some ring break in pulls and it will be ready for dyno!

Nice job man, I don't have the confidence to build my own from bottom to top, but I had a buddy help out on my 347. Picking up a transmission this weekend and going to get mine in the 86 GT. What cam & heads did you go with on yours if you don't mind me asking??

Should have done a 408 stroker. 347 is nice and enough to smoke stock Ls1s but a stroked 351w would have been awesome. Tellin you by experience.

If the heads are the same the timing should stay the same. The fuel table will vary because the cylinder pressure and vacuum will be different.

Break in periods are a myth. Break it in how you attend to drive it. If it don’t hold up do better next time
