I found this while looking for wiring issues for my 88 foxbody brake lights. Ugh! Wiring sucks! I have the stereo out to fix the brake lights. Omg I need more help but this video explained a lot. Thank you.

Had the exact headlight symptoms you described after I completed my I4 to V8 swap. Apparently 9007 bulbs work fine with stock 93 4 cylinder cars. They are nice because they are brighter than the 9004s. Anyhow, after I completed my V8 swap, including transferring the engine and headlight harness, that’s when the problem you described surfaced. I took the 9004 bulbs out of the donor car and put them into the 93 and the headlight issue went away. Thanks a million for that known issue. :)

I ran into an interesting issue on a 93 coupe a guy asked me to fix. The turn signals were inoperable, so he bought a brand new switch from LMR. I put the switch in and still no turn signals. Ended up finding TWO of the wires in the switch connector were not in the correct cavity’s. The guy had had two other people look at it over a two year span and they couldn’t figure it out. How those wires got put in the wrong cavities blows my mind. Like you said, I won’t let a car outsmart me I’m to stubborn

I'm with you, I had issues with my turn signals after I remade the wiring harness for my tube front. Come to find out, dumb me, my voltage was to low on my battery. Good times... I can build a race car but miss the little things.

Man i hate wiring, trying to get fogs to work on this car I picked up seen a jumper wire going from fuse #5 followed it and they jumped it to my headlight switch and it’s wrapped around my headlamp power wire. If I take it off I lose headlamps only everything else works. So they are stealing power from turn signal fuse port. Gotta figure out why

My headlights wont turn off what could be the issue i have to unplug the battery so it wont die

Any chance the harness could affect the charging system? I too have crazy turn signals and already got the new harness to install. Now that you pointed out the alternator is tied in to the harness I’m hoping it kills two birds with one stone my turn signals and charging 🙏🏻
