Foxbody Mustang with 1,000 hp and tons of TECH 

Lmao, I have 6 fox's and one is a 93 cobra, and the exhaust tips through the bumper on this car look like dog shit along with that ugly ass wing. So sorry, but this car may be bad ass, but it ain't perfect. The white notch that looks stock and runs in the 7s is more impressive. This is still a cool car, but I wouldn't drive it like it sits. Just too riced up.

Yep, admittedly there is a whole lot going on in the engine bay. Between sensors, gauges, alarm, normal harnesses, etc. there is lots of wiring. But, I made a purposeful decision not to dump a ton more money into fab work shaving the engine bay, filling all the holes, and trying to hide everything possible. The reason is I mean for it to be an ultimate street machine with all amenities and driven. It’s not just a show car. If I did all that then it would just look crappy in 5 years probably any ways. Looks good enough for me, although I do intend to fab some bolt in beauty panels to hide the stuff on each side between the strut towers to the back of the headlights.

I used a Spintech 3.5” oval X-pipe. Being oval though it is actually 4” wide and 2.5” tall. They also have round to oval or oval to round transition pipes, as well.

Thank you. A lot of personal work into it. The tips are like the Cybertruck. LOL Some people will love it, some people will not like it, and not as many in-between. That’s all good and understandable because as you said we all have our own tastes and we should just be respectful about it. 🤗

@StangFlyer agreed no reason to be rude or disrespect anybody else's build. You will never please everybody, but it's not theirs. Make it your own as long as the owner is proud of it that's all that matters. There isn't a rule book it honestly would be kinda boring if they all looked identical again gorgeous fox just watch out for crowds at car meets 😆 🤣 😂 jk

I run the 8” Renegade race crank pulley for the NOVI you could get back in the day. A 3.70” pulley with it is making 8 - 10 lbs. I also have a 3.40”, 3.25”, and 3.00”. The 3.00” with the 8” crank is upwards of 25 lbs I’m told. Haven’t gone there. The original NOVI 2000 is capable of 28 lbs of boost. It’s also a highly efficient supercharger due to the type of gears it has and runs much lower inlet temps than Vortechs did.

Good info. I was worried with the little pulley I’d get slippage but I don’t. I bent a few stock tensioners but then I found one (forget the name) but it’s 1/2” thick aluminum with a ton of spring tension. It’s been good. The Novi was making 15lbs out of the box when the vortech was making 7-9. Novi is Just a way nicer unit. Plus mine is polished. I don’t think I’ve ever seen a polished vortech. I was getting 640 at the wheel in like ‘05. It was the sickest thing on the block with that set up. Now it’s not even fast compared to what you can drive right off the lot. One thing about the vortech I will say is that l like their after cooler tho. That’s sharp. I don’t know if it works but it’s cool looking

It is a Braille Intensity I3478X rated at 2330 amps.

It’s the J&S SafeGuard “interceptor” model. It splices into the 8 signal wires from the ECU so it can retard the timing as needed on each cylinder individually. I made a custom harness to accomplish this using weather packs to make it easy to put in or remove as desired. They have different models for different ignition types.

It's a 10:1 427 I don't think 1000 would be all that difficult or take huge boost either.

Last time it was weighed at a track it weighed 3550 with me in it. Due to chassis fab and additional suspension components I would think it’s a little heavier now.

You are correct, I misspoke on that point. Rattling off to many specs and things on the spot. All the interior speakers are Kicker speakers but the subwoofer is a Rockford Fosgate P3D2-12. It does not have a box instead I lined the whole spare tire well with a lining from B-Quiet. I don’t think the sub is technically a free-air sub, but with the lining I put in it works great. It also does not “rattle” the rear of the body and hatch like you commonly see cars doing.

The rear rims are LMR’s 17 x 10” Chrome pony rims with a 6.5” backspacing. The tires are Nitto 275 50 series 555 RII drag radials. You will need to do some massaging with a 10 lb sledge to the inner fender wells to curve all edges inward. You will need to use a fender lip rolling tool to roll the outer fender lips slightly. Make sure your rear end is centered as closely as possible so you have the same clearance side-to-side, as well. The quad shocks need to go bye-bye (you might be able to just reverse them). Otherwise, no cutting up required.

I have 03 cobra wheels widened from 9” to 11”. Those wheels have no outer lip so 2” was added to the inside. I then used a 1-1/4” spacer to flush them out with the fender. I had to remove the quad shocks to fit 315’s. It looks mini-tubbed but it’s not. It’s tight but with the pan hard bar it stays put.

A frame-off similar restoration for a Fox Body Mustang is possible, but it's a bit different from what you might typically expect with other classic cars. The Fox Body Mustang, like other unibody cars, doesn't have a traditional frame that can be separated from the body. Instead, the body and frame are integrated, so a "frame-off" restoration isn't technically possible in the traditional sense. However, a comprehensive restoration can still be done, involving extensive work across these areas: 1. Body Work 2. Engine and Drivetrain 3. Interior Restoration 4. Paint and Finishing 5. Suspension and Brakes 6. Final Assembly and Tuning This type of restoration is what I’ve done and can be labor-intensive and costly in terms of both time and money, but in the end it can significantly increase the value and performance of your Fox Body Mustang.

He can turn it up to 18 psi he's only running 8 psi on the street.
