Installing the Team-z street beast. Relocated upper control arms and lower double adjustable control arms. This video we install and talk about the street beast kit from Team-z motorsports!
Slick idea putting the springs in jacking up one side and lower the other. I’ll keep that in the old book of tricks. You son is very polite to says a lot about your parenting good job sir. Me and my 2 sons(9 years old) are going to pull and reseal the 5.0 next week in my car . Gets the kids using their hands and brain 😊
Awesome man! Much thanks. I just share down to my kids what I was taught. My son is a thinker for sure...just need him to want to be more hands on with the cars. I think he'll get there when he gets a little older.
Team Z FTW! I have the anti roll bar to keep from lifting the left front from torque on launch. To drive on the street I just unhook 1 link. You’ll feel like it’s a new car with this kit it works great 👍
When I put my control arms in, and they where just lust the regulars, just like the ones you originally had. They where a pain. But you know I found a little truck. If you jack up on the right side p side of the axle they magically go right in. No joke, jacking up on the passenger side for both the right and left side control arms gets it done. You ain't kidding, that suspension work always leaves me racked. Even when I was younger. Lol the impacts help, before I used to just wrench it lol. Young Ladd. Another good job, well done.
Awesome vid Mike. I suggested the Street Beast arms to you in an older vid and I'm glad to see you settled on those. I will be putting them on my car as well.
Great video and good job on the kit. Something to look into for my project next year. I need a shopping list of stuff. It is great to see you and your son. Keep up the good work.
Good work on the stang as usual. Connor's front teeth missing are fun times. My kids would say they ate a knuckle sandwich for lunch, Hahah. So Cute at that age.
Beautiful setup, but ass backwards with the install. Curious to see how the uppers go in! Love the channel man, good to see someone learning as they go. Very inspiring!
Appreciate it man. MOst is a learning process, sharing my experiences with others...Ive replaced, removed and installed rear-ends in foxes before. Once other time on this car and never had an issue putting it in lowers first. This was the first time It dawned on me that "maybe" doing the uppers first would be easier.
You the man dula! love this car. You're one of the guys that made me want to make my own channel on my sn95 build. You get a chance check it out.. Rock on man thanks for your vids 🤙💪🏁🐎
Team Z all the way. Wish Dave would just give me free stuff from his company lol. They have amazing products. I plan to only use there stuff on my fox.
Hey Mike, I've heard one of the best mods you could do to your car is a Pan hard bar for your rear end. I bought one and haven't installed it yet, they say it makes your car drive like it's on rails.
Thank you for your concern! We are fine, it hit in the Dallas area, Im more south Fort Worth / Arlington area. We got heavy rain and hail last night, but luckily no damage.
Ah , I just went with the summit arms . Cars pretty much stock to . There’s no way possible that setup not going to be banging and clunking with a lot of road noise. Everyone has different levels of tolerance tho .
This is true. Stock rubber will be the most quiet, but Im willing to be these will be pretty smooth and clunk free! You always have to give and take a little for the price for performance.
Never really noticed and dont really watch a lot of his, but I'll take that as a compliment lol Hes been doin it a LONG time and at 8.5 MILLION subscribers, lets just say he's well off compared to me and doing something right
The cut on the lower end causes the spring to lean forward. Matching the acute angle of the lower control arms and upper spring pocket. It just lets the spring sit vertical. If it was 180 degrees It could bind the spring up.
@@HOUSEOFDULA Coolio. Well, yall might shun me. I have a '93 BMW 325is swapped with '89 5.0. B303, GT40 heads Edelbrock RPM intake and will be installing a Holley Super Sniper EFI I just got along with finishing up my On3 single kit I got from Turbokits.com. Have to do some cutting and welding on hot pipes since the Foxbody kit doesnt fit exactly with this car. Car has the C4 trans as well, 3200 stall. And 3.91 original LSD rearend.
Well maybe with a lift. On the garage to get the uppers in first you need lift the axle higher up, balancing it on the jack and get your body up in the upper mounts. Might be easier, but on the floor in garage its likely safer to do the lowers each side at a time. Worked for me. Just tilt the axle to get each side in.
I’m very very late to see your video. I have solid and will strongly advise against doing so especially if you drive on the street. With running solid my 03 Cobra is horribly noisy and it’s very easy to say one of my worst decisions I made on my car.
