Micro Toothless 2 and Micro Phoenix 2 are very close but Toothless has a superior FOV.

I just got the toothless micro 2. It is amazing. Honestly all 4 of these are pretty darn good. I really like the adjustable FOV on the toothless 2.

Dang! I took a RunCam Phoenix 2 out of my order from Pyro Drone this afternoon... Went with my old favorite the RunCam Mini Sparrow. It's crazy how the Phoenix 2 can have such good focus on close up things as well is distant. Thank you for making this Gal! And that's quite a test rig!

Nano Toothless 2 = great camera. It was super solid in all conditions. However though larger I was most impressed with the Phoenix 2 Micro. So sharp and great colours even into low light. These last series of camera reviews are really making the Ratel family seem just a little old now. Thanks for sharing!

The Micro Toothelss 2 has a bigger field of view, but at the same time that makes objects look a lot further away than they really are. Kinda risky for a beginner like me. I think I'll pick the Nano Toothless 2. Nice contrast and colors. Sharpness seems fine too, also in noon/night.

Epic review, love these comparisons. I plan to get an Emax TinyHawk II whoop for my birthday, and switch the default Runcam Nano 2 camera to a better one. The Foxeer Toothless 2 Nano looks like a great contender. I plan to fly indoors mostly in less than perfect light. And at small playgrounds, when children are not there.

Like your review process, comparing several cams at once. I usually find the Ratel my favorite, but this time I thought the Phoenix 2 was slightly better, and the nano toothless was better than the micro toothless. Too hard to keep track of all these new cams.

Exactly...it definitely beats the Baby Ratel -- it's too grainy in low light compared to this. Looks like I might have new fav, but actually owning and flying it for a while is the only real test

Great test many thanks Gal. Phoenix 2 micro has horizontal lines on all the screen, all over the video, but more or less visible depending of the background of the picture. Do you have any idea why ? Is it an alimentation filtering issue, but then why 3 others doesn't show this problem, or is it an issue specific to the phoenix 2 micro ? Too bad, cause on your test my prefs, I guess, would go to the Phoenix 2 micro. Keep posting and take care

Thank you. I am still not sure what caused this issue and I also have seen it on other reviewers' videos. I suspect it might be related to NTSC/PAL mode or RF interference but I need to confirm it when I will have some extra time.
