Your commentary when you walk around the casino is very personable. It's a nice touch. I watch a lot of casino walk through videos and too many of them sound robotic.

Hi! Yes unfortunately veranda cafe is no longer there. It is now a Italian restaurant but it does serve breakfast there still. It wasn’t open during my visit so I couldn’t experience it. Hope it does well. Have a great trip! Thanks for your support ❤️😊
I came to this video out of nostalgia. I moved to Florida and there are lots of poker rooms here but I still wanted to see the Foxwoods poker room again, and the restaurants

@@AfternooninConnecticut Sure. I guess the most interesting one from your point of view would be the Seminole Hard Rock in Hollywood. It has a great poker room too. My "home" casino is the Isle in Pompano. It has slots, of course, but isn't' very glamorous. To be honest, I wouldn't enter a casino if not for poker or a concert or a sports event. I am too serious a gambler to play against the casino edge.
Used to go backpacking there, I come from New London and I've seen Mohegan Sun but not Foxwoods. I don't gamble but I know the person who started the whole thing. He came back and asked me to be on the Women's Council but my children were small didn't think I've have the time. Now they're all millionaires. It's very nice but I don't think I missed anything BUT THE MILLION DOLLAR s could've used that.

Hi Diann :) I’m sure they all have them but you would have to get a suite. I know there is hotel that is very close called Bellisimo Grande that has rooms with spa tubs. I never stayed there it looks nice. Have a wonderful anniversary!
Hey! I’m considering moving my family to Connecticut, my hubby is a poker dealer, so I am scoping out the casinos. Do you know anything about the poker scene between Foxwoods or Mohegan Sun?
I know nothing about the casinos. It's a great place to live. Groton New London Norwich Mystic all fantastic places to live and it's all close like one big town. There is great public transportation you can get to all those places on one company's busses. Unlike Florida that has NO public transportation at all. Downtown New London is great and still vibrant not a ghost town like many places in US. New London was where Armistad happened and growing up in a black town was wonderful but after the casinos started the white people took over it's possible it will be distroyed soon but not yet. There are signs that have English French Mandarin I forgot the last language this is mostly in Norwich but it's like going back in time where downtown was still downtown. Last time I saw the huge Crystal Mall in Waterford it was sparse but there are many new outside malls. Unlike Florida where they are allowed to sell anything you can get fresh meat and fish and your vegetables and fruit don't rot before your get them home. There are Indian restaurants Chinese markets and Caribbean markets on Franklin St in Norwich. It's just as easy to jump on the train and go down to Pathmart on 125th in Harlem to go grocery shopping . Cheap prices and if you have a Medicare red white n blue card it all cost $4.00 to shop in New York City
