Isn't that the Truth! There's nothing like the wonderful feeling of love and how powerful it is. It most certainly gives you the wings so you can fly.:) But when it's gone, oh my goodness you just got to hold on tight and pray with all your might the God help ease the pain. Sometimes it feels like you will not want to live without that love of your life... And everyday doing so might be the greatest effort you ever give. Like Amos Lee... in that his appeal creeps up softly, not as showy or matcho as others but also quite talented. You start out thinking this is that guy at the coffee shop you enjoy and always find yourself thinking "why isn't he more known?" and then realize--no, he is good, you have to really listen...it's just not an in-your-face hard sell. Thank the universe for the 'Net, where we can hear people and decide for ourselves who's listen-worthy, instead of waiting for some entertainment corp. to package it's own dollar-driven choices to cram down our throats. Some are naturally showy, but others get to us because now we get to hear them all and choose. Chris Stapleton wrote for others for years before getting to sing for himself, and has since put himself far past many of those he wrote for.
