I remember hearing Fozzy for the first time thinking "kinda sounds like Ozzy Osbourne" only to make the joke "Haha Fozzy Osbourne" only then to find out that they were actually a cover band for Ozzy called Fozzy Osbourne at one point.
I think Fozzy are gonna stay together for a long time, but you can never really know if they will be over or not one day, but I love the group, they are awesome
it's only Jericho that's in wrestling though, and he's started wrestling again, doesn't really matter though, both Jericho and his Fozzy group are just awesome
It was a tongue in cheek joke I made. I did mean "over" as being popular. But you cannot argue with nearly 300,000 views on a song. Fozzy does have a following and I saw that they were playing some fest that's pretty big. I don't think they'll sell out arenas though. And Jericho is indeed my favorite wrestler and it does upset me that because of his music career he is now a part time wrestler. I know he's getting older but he still has it in him to wrestle.
People please understand that Fozzy needs a push in the Mainstream direction. That's not to say that they will eventually change their sound. This song is the song that will gain them fans. More than they ever had. Relax, they will stay true to their sound. They won't sell out.

And so it begins. With each new album Fozzy will release, people will gradually start to turn on them. Every future song or album that will ever be released will forever be compared to previous and older work. People will have grown weary and ever more apathetic towards their new material for the simple and unjust reason that its doesn't sound like their older stuff. It works for any band. The minute they change up their sound they are immediately criticized for not sticking on a set path. As an artist, one should have the freedom to explore new horizons and try new things. Isn't that what being a musician is truly about? You are an artist; you craft and forge new ideas, new sounds and tear down your own boundaries and shed limitations in order to grow as musicians. A real artist should strive to break the mold and be willing to try new things. Not just stick to what they know because its the "safe" thing to do. Its not about one album, it should never be about just, one album. It's about a body of work. What does Fozzy want their legacy to be like? The band who put out Chasing the Grail 8 times? Or perhaps the band who diversified their core library of sound. Then went on to experiment with different tools and techniques to ultimately define what it very much means to be an artist. The core skeleton of my argument can be said for and band or artist who is willing to cast aside cliche formulas and branch out and be something, else. Something different that sets them aside from every day mediocrity. While what Fozzy may be doing isn't exactly ground breaking. I applaud them for taking the less traveled road and trying something that's different.
The song is great, I didn't really know what to expect when I heard all the talk about a new direction for the band and that this album is going to be a new take on fozzy. When it began I was confused with the electro and pop elements the song has I was like "they're still doing metal right?" Then the guitar kicked in and Chris (who sounds better in this song than ever before) Started singing you got a sense that the band made a really good job reinventing themselves, I was constantly grining throughout just by the sheer difference between this and a song from sin and bones, but that also you could distinguish it to be a fozzy song. All in all I'm happy with how the song turned out, and I can't wait for the full album whenever it is released in June or July or whatever. I also really hope the band get the recognition and success they deserve for all their hard work.
Jericho is the only wrestler that is serious about making music. John Cena wasn't bad (a couple good songs), I don't even know what the hell Namoi and Ariane were trying to do
I agree, Fozzy is awesome, Cena was pretty good in some songs, personally my favorite was Right Now in the Naomi and Cameron I haven't even bothered in listening to them because I know those songs must suck.

Chris and his band fozzy are a kick ass band . I just wish they would come to Winnipeg and play for there fans there. Even if it’s at the mts center or the Winnipeg convention centre or at investor group field. I will weight till day I die to see them play in Winnipeg. I know,that is why i put the fact that it is not family friendly.maybe if this was the late 90's to early 2000's,then it would have been okay.But anyway,it doesn't matter cause he isn't on WWE because he is touring and making music with the band(which I get to see them next week).

I don't think it was originally a WWE PPV song, mainly cause they sung the song live before WWE ever thought of putting it in SummerSlam, you don't see live performances of WWE PPV songs unless they used an actual song from a band and asked if they could use it as their theme for a PPV, like Nickelback's songs, Burn It To The Ground was RAW's theme song but that song was out long before they ever thought of using it, Kiss It Goodbye was out a year before WWE used it for the theme song for the 2012 Royal Rumble, and WWE used When We Stand Together for 2011 Tribute To The Troops, and that song was out before Tribute To The Troops, these songs along with Skillet's songs they used and this song were never truly made for PPVs, WWE just chose them cause they thought they would sound good for a PPV, that's all, and Burn It To The Ground was originally made for the second Transformers movie.
they´ve had different styles on each album. and dont get me wrong i love all of their songs (except for born of anger) but i dont think that its their style. even though some of their best songs are on chasing the grail like: martyr no more, god pounds his nails and paraskavadekatriaphobia. But its still not as good as all that remains´s nameless faceless, enemy and all that remains or sin and bones´s spider in my mouth, sandpaper, blood happens and shes my addiction.
After listening to the song for about 3 times, I can say I love the chorus, very awesome stuff. I wish I could say the same for the verses, they're pretty weak due to the damned claps/clicks, that shit really ruins an otherwise awesome song.
***** It's Fozzy? haha, but srsly, not the best song in the world. Lyrics are quite like Kiss (who I am all for)-meets....*shudders* nickelback. The mediocre lyrics don't really faze me, but with a sorta Ozzy singing and a bit a heavier/poppy sound (for Fozzy at least), the chorus instantly becomes the strong point. Hopefully the rest of the album is at least as strong as this, if not more-so *fingers crossed*
The lead singer is a 6-time WWE World Heavyweight Champion, Chris Jericho... He needs a no. 1 hit song... many of his songs qualify for that distinction.
