@@Miller_Lite It doesn't look to be a nice stadium at all. The only attractive feature appears to be the stand that houses the MLS museum, which at least has a canopy roof.

I lived in Fort Worth and the burn / fc Dallas was my home team, . Garbage distance from everything, stadium was fine but nothing special. The concerts were more exciting.

Let kids play football for free. Zlatan said learning football in US would be impossible for poor families, because of the price. Capital America should step up and make it FREE.

Right. Football (soccer in the US) is for the masses. This sport doesn’t require particular tools or playground.

Austin use To have the minor hockey team Austin ice bats and they have the break off of the dallas stars texas stars. They play in cedar park and in cedar park they also have the Austin spurs in the NBA G league. But I think it's cool they have this team

Night games will be nice. Day games in June, July, and August will be unbearable. The stadium looks amazing. Nice job Austin, schedule games at night during the summer so the fans can enjoy themselves.

Its awesome to see MLS grow season to season!! A new stadium being added each year and sadly my league liga MX are falling stagnant with signings and stadia! I mean any one seen how ugly and old Juarez's stadium and champions cruz azul hasn't had a stadium for years now 🤔

austin has NO other pro teams and isnt even a top 25 market in north america. manchester is the 2nd biggest market in the uk. soccer is also the 5th sport in north america and n1 in england.

I kind of agree with you, 20k sits are very small imo, even if that sport is not that popular in NA atm it's going to grow rapidly & when that happen they will regret they made such a small stadium, they should have made it at least 35-40k sits.

Why do you need grass lamps in a place as south as Austin, and in a stadium that small.

Certain areas of the field will probably get more shade than others. Those lamps will take care of that problem. Premier League teams use those lamps and their grass looks incredible.

@@adamdruett9107 OK yeah, the roofs in the PL cover more of the field because of the rain. So yeah the roofs in Austin won't shade as much of the field compared to England but there will probably be a few areas that are shaded in the fall and winter I'd imagine.

Remember that MLS is just twenty something years. When the league is older and has gotten to what a real sports league is supposed to be. They will probably start upgrading their stadia. By the way Nashville SC's new stadium will be 30 something thousand capacity

@@danielobiagbaoso7676 J-League in Japan is just as old as MLS as one of the younger leagues. But MLS is doing far better in terms of attendance (#10 in the world) and revenue with better projected growth while J-League seems stagnant.

it's because Austin is very green and has a ton of trees, which is why there are Oak Trees on the logo and why our colors are Green 'n Black. Really has nothing to do w/Mexico... the colors are green; "verde" is just spanish for the nickname of the team, "Los Verdes" / "The Verde" / "Os Verdes"

I'm happy for the city of Austin getting its first pro team, but I'm sad and disappointed for my home town of San Antonio WHO PUT A LOT OF WORK AND EFFORT with Bexar county, the City of San Antonio, and the SAN ANTONIO SPURS who submitted a bid for expansion along with 11 other cities to be considered as the next MLS expansion club. SAN ANTONIO HAS PROVEN THAT IT HAS a HUGE SOCCER FAN BASE, but it was passed over for Austin (who BTW didn't submit an expansion bid) and that SHADY AND NON-TRANSPARENT ANTHONY PRECOURT who sat down and had influence in the MLS expansion committee. San Antonio is the 7th largest city in the US and 2nd largest city in Texas and the SPURS WORKED HARD TO BRING A MLS FRANCHISE HERE. I'm hoping that San Antonio can some how bring in a Liga MX expansion club since the MLS passed on the city of San Antonio and ONE OF THE GREATEST SPORTS ORGANIZATIONS IN THE COUNTRY THE SPURS SPORTS & ENTERTAINMENT. THIS WAS A HUGE CONFLICT OF INTEREST and SHAME ON THE MLS for letting this happen to San Antonio. SAN ANTONIO FÚTBOL CLUB (SAFC) would have been a great Club in the MLS.
