For sure one of the best performances on the web, if not the best (I say this having listened to all the greats!) Has captured the essence of Chopin's music perfectly!
Bravo! Outstanding performance. I love your extreme clarity of touch. Many people who play Chopin seem to lack this clarity of touch. I also love the vigor of this performance, it reminds me of the vigorous style of Martha Argerich.
this is breathtaking. i do believe you got a bit carried away during the coda and some other relatively quick and powerful parts, but you can really HEAR the emotion, and that, to me, makes a wonderful piece. splendid job.
WOW!! This is without a doubt the BEST performance that I've heard so far of this Ballade. Very clean sound and awsome interpetation. Great job Enrico!!
This is an absolute please to hear and see. Your hands seem so weightless and your dynamic choice are rich. This is a very inspiring performance and hope to play at that level and depth!
you changed myself. How many years I have trough out .. I´ll have up all my years again ... I ´ll have my Clavinova Piano and i´ll follow your example. Thank you the opportunity to listen to your music.
Your hands are amazing! I think you are at world class level. That precision and control is absolutely amazing. Very original interpretation I think. There are a few places where I would have played it differently but overall I like it very much. And yeah ... to bad it's a Yamaha. But anyway I can't stress it enough, this was exceptionally good!
Wow. Such amazing control during the coda. I'm really jealous. I have learned this piece (I have a recording of it on my channel), but I've only been playing for 2.5 years, and I don't have anywhere near your level of dynamic control and precision. I hope I will get there one day.
I have to say that this is very nice. You could hear every single note. Though it did sound like you were rushing at some points, but other than that, simply amazing!! :)
Enrico Sianesi hello, thank you for this video! in my life i need to play this like you, i was wondering if you can say tips that helped you to perform like this? -2:26 how can i improve my fast moves? - what is the most dificult part for you? How you improve it? - how much time until you perform like this? thank you so much again.
Dear Planet Yam, it's too difficult explain in a few words the way to play good the 1 Balade as well generally to play good the piano. What I suggest it's to pay huge attention of the hand's movement in each passages in order to understand what's going wrong, which hands movement are you doing and why the hands could not resolve the passages. Play piano is first of all a "brain" reason, observe your hands in slowly way and with the same method in fast way. Hope I answered.
Enrico Sianesi, as an amateur and I see the dificulty to play a music beautifully all the time. The interpretation is definately another huge step for mastering a piece, memorizing is just the beginning. So your suggestion is very precious to me , and i can't thank you enough . So, in this first transition ( 2:55 - 3:22 ) , did you just played slowly , analysing your hand positions , and gradually took speed ?Because it seems to me very hard to play fast with precision.
